I tried to buy something from Fanatics in 2019 but it didn't work and I got a dodgy vibe from them, when you google'd their name you'd see some of those "are they legit?" questions, but I did buy something from them just last month and it was fine, they do seem much more legitimate now, it'll probably be a huge step up for the AFL in this department, where they've been stagnating like its perpetually 2008. I assume we'll still see cookie-cutter templates for all 18 clubs but the range of products should be a step up

Fanatics was good 5 years ago. Ever since they opened their "International" shop it feels like prices got jacked. Even if you want to buy from their normal US based shop.

I've had a couple of issues with Fanatics, but when I complained they fixed it very quickly and significantly in my favour. I effectively got a 2 free jerseys out of them due to their mistakes.

Can't be worse than the existing AFL generic range of merch

Instead of what people actually want, retro Port Adelaide Football Club merch.

While the Victorian clubs get retro merch using real retro designs.

Fanatics are usually very good at it, but the AFL will no doubt stick its nose in.

They are good for the smaller teams, where there’s not so much merch.

I think literally the only thing that hasn't come directly from the club with a real pre 1996 link was that tight New Era cap with the old Magpies logo with the Australian flag on it.

...and now that I try to find it I can't and I just found this! Hahahahaha looks like they got the memo. Thou shalt not recognise 126 years of history.

Interesting to note that the online Port Store removed the sale of this POLO shirt in adult mens sizes. Maybe they might be aware of the high pockets...? Manufacturing error from Macron?
Although you can still buy this POLO in junior sizes.

You can purchase over the phone from the club store and they do ship them, they just don't really publish that for some reason.

Not good how poorly sales were anticipated if they can sell out in a half hour.

We could fund our coaching department and fitness staff on guernsey sales alone, and we wouldn't be stuck ordering our staff off of AliExpress and Wish like we usually do.
