Yes, that is bullshitAlso a limit of 5 per person so quite a few of them would be grabbing multiple.

If this was the Soviet Union it would have been limited to 1 per person and anyone buying more than 1 would have been dealt with / never seen againLike the old days of the Soviet Union - they've heard a rumour that some Levi jeans are available at the GUM store!
Once the rum is set up, anything is possibleI know.
But once the rum is set up making more of the same shouldnt take that much longer.

I was just at the club after work. Missed out but you can put your name down on a waiting list for JuneAny word on if they are they organising more?
This is huge. Another blatant instance of Collingwood actively stifling a huge source of income. I wonder if we have any legal case regarding restraint of trade here. The PBs on sale today are the 2022 editions. They only produced a limited number (1950) with the hope of being able to wear the guernsey in season 2022 which was knocked back by Eddie (Collingwood).
Previously in 2020 during the clubs 150th year Eddie allowed for PAFC to wear the guernsey once during our HOME showdown and produce a limited amount of guernseys.
The club expected to wear the PB with the MG sponsor in 2022 and produced the same quantity of guernseys that was agreed upon back in 2020 between Koch & Eddie. Unfortunately Eddie denied PAFC from wearing it that year.
Once the new president of Collingwood came to power he didn't have any issues regarding PB, so the club decided to sell the 2022 version all 1950 of them that was in storage.
Going forward there isn't a cap on how many PBs the club is allowed to sell. So there will be thousands more PB in the future provided they already put an order with Macron as it takes roughly 6 months according to Tredrea via podcast.
No Collingwood is getting 0% of the revenue as mentioned in press conference and podcasts.I was just at the club after work. Missed out but you can put your name down on a waiting list for June
Does anyone know if Collingwood are getting a cut of the sales? This is my only fear...
these people should be reportedAlready started!

Surely they will take pre-orders for the new ones now that those have sold.I missed out due to work. They really should’ve made 10,000 of them available for members to pre-order
Mostly fights.Once the rum is set up, anything is possible

Yeh I’ve mentioned elsewhere 6 months is bullshit. Bookings/capacity aside, theres no way product of this type should take that long to procure. As someone that has previously worked for a guernsey manufacturer
6 month lead time is ******* attrocious
This would only be due to Macron having a filled booking lists
There is local suppliers that sub in for Macron for one off player issue stuff, Id be leaning on them hard to make hay whilst the sun shines
It wasn't Eddie McGuire that denied it in 2022. He was already gone mid way through 2021.The PBs on sale today are the 2022 editions. They only produced a limited number (1950) with the hope of being able to wear the guernsey in season 2022 which was knocked back by Eddie (Collingwood).

Would love to know how many times Eddie talked about us or other teams needing to stop relying on handouts post an agreement to limit our ability to sell this. This is huge. If it was less than 5 people would’ve complained. Most people were buying for a group. It’s a shame a handful have made it to scalpers. The 5 guernsey limit leading to scalping is absolutely shameful. Just make it 1 adult guernsey per adult membership. I wouldn't have a restriction on kids, but the scalping would leave a pretty sour taste if you lined up and missed out.
If it was limited to membership, they could have confirmed that before actually selling them. It's a sacred representation of our club, why give scalpers any chance to profit? If it was less than 5 people would’ve complained. Most people were buying for a group. I was there yesterday, got there at 815. By the time the doors opened I was in the middle of the line. It was all handled fairly well. Free Coffee and donut. There were people from the club, including Richo, who were letting us all know what was going on. Richo stayed out in the line the whole time talking to whoever wanted to chat. I did hear him say this lot were “produced by mistake”. Nice little money spinner as a mistake. He also said it’s a 6 week turn around on jumpers. Before more people wet the bed, they ordered more as soon as they were allowed to.
More coming in June, anyone who missed out on their size left their details and will get invited back before the next lot go to the public.
The “mistake” was likely not the printing of the jumpers. I think I read on the Port Trade*laide group on Facebook that this lot of jumpers were for 2022 when we applied to wear it and got knocked back. The conditions at the time when we’d wear them was that we could only sell 1950 of them, hence the limited supply. The “mistake” in question here is that supposedly the bars we wear this year will have the red MG logo and not the white one, so positioning these as misprints rather than the truth that makes Collingwood look bad is probably the safest idea.If it was limited to membership, they could have confirmed that before actually selling them. Richardson has outright lied, again. How do you think nearly 2000 jumpers are "produced by mistake"? They didn't just slip on a button. When he says mistake, what we should actually hear is incompetence.
Coffee and donut lol. How easily the sins of the past and present are forgiven.
I understand why they exist. They were ordered without the confirmed ability to wear and/or sell them. Incompetence. The “mistake” was likely not the printing of the jumpers.
