I mean as a sock manufacturing company they've existed since prior to World War 2. So you'd think they do supply decent products.

They're probably significantly better than the Macron scarves.

I do have that one and it's my current go-to.

A couple of issues:

- The quality isn't incredible. It's not awful, just a stock standard footy scarf.

- I don't really want to be associated with the "Alberton Crowd" fan group.

If they made one of those woolen scarves in a simple black and white bar scarf (i'd even accept a small amount of silver) i'd happily pay $80 for it and wear it for the next 20 years. Instead all the merino wool stuff is abstract patterns choc full of teal.

They sell premium footy scarves, they also know that black and white stuff is very popular. Just combine those two ideas into one superscarf.

I agree that they are going crazy on the teal. Teal looks great as an outline and when used in limitation.
Our club should not be associated with TEAL only.
Black & White are our Primary colours with Teal & SILVER being our secondary colours.

I agree having a premium scarf in the option of Black & White with the Port Adelaide name/logo would be great!

The only way of us getting closer to this is by either buying the black & white merchandise such as the scarf, jumpers, hats and this years polo shirts etc SO it shows to them that the merch in Black & White are being sold MORE proportionally compared with other colour/designs.

Another way is to email or message the Port Store via their social media platforms like I have been doing to indicate supporters rate Black & White merch and if they can give us what we want.

It's pretty simple really

Just have a healthy mix of conventional black and white stuff for the traditionalists and plenty of gaudy teal for the kids

I'm convinced we have a crows plant working at the club in merchandise and branding. There's no other excuse for the trash that has been pumped out in the last few years.
