Dropped an email to them for some help.
They responded quickly enough however after trying a few things and still not working the upshot was "don't know what is causing the issue and we are unable to place your order for you" .. Also, any idea who I complain to about the online store - they provided limited assistance and basically gave up,

Had the same experience, and I don't live anywhere near as far away. Ordered some stuff the weekend they had the free scarf offer and when I followed up a week later they gave me exactly the same excuse and cancelled the order. If I were a cynic I would conclude both from my experience and yours that they'd determined the respective orders weren't profitable enough and/or required too much handling, so they canned them. I've also tried unsuccessfully to have numbers put on guernseys - seriously who sells supporter gear that you can't personalise with your favourite player?

Not sure where to raise this with the Club, but if you find an avenue, let me know and I'll add my twopenny worth

(PS, FWIW many posters here with experience at the physical store have told me that they are happy to take phone orders, and would be able to personalise. I haven't tried this yet, was waiting until we get sponsorship sorted )

Sent an email to the Port store at Alberton but no response at this point.
Pretty disappointed to be honest.
May drop an email to Ben in the membership department in the next few day - he's always pretty helpful.

I have no problem with the power nickname, but for some reason just the simple basic “Port” has such more impact and looks absolutely amazing on anything we put it on.

Just another item of merch for opposition fans to be jealous of.

They've worked out what works really well. Simple, iconic and can be worn anywhere.

We've just got the perfect name/colours to create simple, low key merch.

Black with a touch of white can be worn by everyone on any type of merch.

The name 'Port' is so nondescript and doesn't scream 'OMG I'M WEARING FOOTY MERCH!' like say Richmond or Essendon would.

It's great that the club is starting to realise this.

I did this a few years ago but never got it produced. It's the same font as Compton.

One of our first new era caps was one that said Alberton, wasn't it? Albeit with a more generic sans serif font
