Priddis was a complete non event today. Really hope the club looks at that and reconsiders his contract extension.
Lecras again goes missing away.
Govs disposal has been steadily getting worse and some of his decision making is poor. Trying too hard sometimes
Hill out and Cripps in was a poor decision. Cripps is clearly not fit.
Redden ball watching all day. I haven't minded him in some other games but needs to be dropped for that performance

Same team as last week apart from Cripps so what the hell is going on?
We need get these guys some professional physiological care because that is the problem. That and a shit midfield but I'm over talking about it. Only been 10 years now. Time to accept it.

If you stop Shuey and put speed on Priddis and Mitchell and win the ruck we are toast. So they move Mitchell away from his best spot and replace him with Redden or Sheed. Same same but different. Shuey is our only remotely line breaking mid and so they do everything to stop him. Today they stopped him and they killed us at contested ball - recipe for pain.
We have had this issue for years and it's never been addressed. Priddis is now a massive liability and he can't play anywhere else.
We also have almost zero pace on any line and our forward set up is very very very mark dependent. Then when we do mark it we have to kick straight.
Today was everything that can go wrong did go wrong...
Amazing what pace and skill can do.
They took the game on and backed their kicks and pinpointed multiple passes over 50m +.
We are lucky to see 1 of them in a game with only Sheed able to back his left to clear zones and put players running back into space.
Hurn always gets around with shoulders slumped and looks disinterested at times. I was a fan of him becoming captain but looks a mistake.
Again probably fringe players moved out of the team after that when it wasn't good enough from so many seniors.
Sheed, Duggan & Vardy our best.

Masten and Darling perfectly symbolise everything that has been wrong with the club on the field since 2008. Both are soft as butter and crumble when the heat is turned up. Send them back to East Perth permanently

I just don't understand it. Why are the players not ready for the opposition to play this way vs them? It's the only way to beat Eagles and works almost every time because Eagles aren't ready for it mentally.
If it was only a few players it's down to them and not the coaches. The entire team playing like that though? It's 1000000000% a coaching issue.
Eagles have games vs Bulldogs, St Kilda and Pies at Etihad later this year. Minimum 2 wins from those 3 games or Simpson should be gone in 2018 no matter what else.

Still getting penalty rates at least?
I think many of us are starting to get through to that final stage of grief...acceptance.
There's still some denial going on; a fair amount of anger and depression; heaps of bargaining (it's a tight competition, every team has been reamed this year bar a couple etc.); and many like me who have accepted this team will not deliver a flag.
And you know what folks? While it sucks, it's just football and life goes on. Ultimately only one bunch of fans will be happy each year.
