Oh Jesus, that poor kid must have had the s**t kicked out of him. Whoever let him express himself through dance should have family services called on them.

Bingo is a republican's game. The game for people who greatest hope for the week is winning enough for some 2 minute noodles.

We did a meat platter from local butchers, casks of wine from the wineries around or you know, whatever else was donated. The money was from the scented highlighters that glowed in the dark, the oldies loved those.

But hey, you do your cheap ass version.

That sounds a bit classier than what I imagined.

If u can't get in nose first find another park

In SA that's actually an option. In Melbourne you have to park in Werribee and get a train in if you wanted to do that.

Ephemeral Hope how are your chillis going
They’re going relatively well! I ended up grabbing a couple small plants from Bunnings (fortuitous they had some of the super hot varieties similar to what I’m growing) as insurance in case my seedlings didn’t pan out. Those are doing well about ruler height and decently bushy.

Seedlings are slow but probably 5-10cm tall. This shit weather hasn’t been helping much. Sunny one day then bloody hailing the other.

I’m not sure how long it usually takes to get some chillies but I’m having fun with it. Would like to actually have something to eat sooner rather than later though I guess gardening is a game of patience.

Probably not till Late Jan early Feb chillis take a like a month to ripen.

Started with chillis a few years ago now I'm growing lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, capsicum, lettuce, rocket, kale, silverbeet, garlic and all different herbs.

That’s heart breaking I thought I’d have a summer of walking out to the garden plucking off a chilli and cooking up a nice meal. I’ll have to still rely on ones from the shops for a while longer.
They flowering yet?

They take longer than you expect I remember being anxious about getting my first chilli and eating them green

No flowers yet I put them in pretty big pots possibly mistakenly. They’ll have a bit of growing to do I think before they’ll try to flower. Also the weather is so inconsistent. I’ll have to update here with photos later

They'll keep fruiting in Autumn and into winter and with bigger pots you'll get a good crop so don't stress too much😅
