Our big fella [dog] in Brisbane use to get hold of them. Had to throw them in the bin. Handled them a bit gingerly waiting to get the shit scratched out of me because not 💯 percent sure they just weren’t playing ______.

I mean how can you not be on this guys side at this point?
It is funny to see how the media has reacted compared to people on the internet.

The people are memeing on this and not giving a **** or telling horror stories about getting care denied, meanwhile the media is going overboard with making this seem like a tragedy.

The people vs the ownership class.

Turns out screwing people over has consequences.

Suprised it's taken this long. I wouldn't be suprised if it happens again either
shit happens here too. MBF refused to cover my daughter's hospital admission as it claimed her policy didn't cover breast cancer. The whole family subseqently changed insurers

I'm not sure if you've read any history but the veneer of civility is pretty thin. When the top few percent leave too little for the bottom, things don't usually end well. If I was an oligarch I'd be throwing a few coins down.

What are we talking about Saintos? I'm thinking your dog eats CEOs.

I suspect we are fast approaching that point. There's plenty of kindling out there. Something will set fire to it.

Doubtful. Covid made it clear how weak people are, (and how little they could actually change even if they wanted to) willing to just sit and take it.

Seeing as Gringo is so well read, perhaps he could list a few benevolent leaders of more recent times those in charge could learn from?

Until then, may twinks continue to murder people in the street just cos. I notice United Healthcare immediately changed their policies upon the slaying which is good news… oh wait 😎

Lol, the main thing covid taught us is how little resilience some people have. It's years later and they're still bitching about having to stay inside for a while.

Covid was different though. It's the after it that's doing the damage. People are very much noticing thier living standards are dropping and they're noticing they're getting screwed. Everyone has a breaking point.

The CEO getting shot is a symptom of a bigger problem. It's not often you get near universal celebration like that.
Trump getting elected is a symptom of the same problem.

And what outcomes do you think will be likely if people keep killing those who they disagree with?

Do you think governmental/corporate control will increase or decrease over those (us) doing the killing?

What empathy do you think the wives, children, parents, extended family and friends will have for those who have slain their loved ones?

On Covid, completely disagree on the all the damage being post the event. Ludicrous to suggest as much.

Once the disconnect of the working class with the elites grows large enough, these acts of violence will become more common.
History is littered with the results of it. Attempts to curtail by control have generally ended very badly.

It's fixable well before it gets to that though.

The damage for the most part is the economic one.

Yes yes, that much has been established. All good if we don’t want to progress the discussion further than the first comment
