I'm not talking purely about the Dogs. I'm speaking in broad terms. But good to know, would love to get a majority Essendon crowd at the Adelaide Oval.
Well, speaking in general terms, that I hate a team just because, any neutrals may possibly going for Dogs, just because Essendon.

However, in the real world, we would shit all over the Sons of the West. I wouldn't worry too much about the crowd aspect. I think the boys would be confident to get the job done. Either them or Sydney, just not Joe and Brisbane at the Gabba. As much as I would like to see it, I feel as though that would be a disaster.

Dogs are easily the most beatable team in the 8 right now (apart from us). Their superstar midfield is spluttering along, their ruck division is a disaster (even if they get Stef Martin back it'll be off 12 weeks of no football) and their forward line isn't the same without Bruce. Getting them week 1 at a neutral venue is the best scenario we could've hoped for.

If I was dogs I'd be trying to get to humid QLD if an afternoon game

Adelaide as suggested by Bevo is pretty good for us. Would love a day game against them

You'd think;
Port vs Cats/Dee's @ adelaide
Cats/Dee's vs Lions @ Tasmania
Dogs vs Don's @ adelaide
Sydney vs GWS @ QLD

Port likely to get the Friday night

The worst case scenario as far as venue is concerned from what I know is Adelaide, I have no idea how much support we have over there. We're neck and neck with Carlton in terms of 3rd most supporters in Perth and it seems as if we're pretty big in Tassie as well.

Pweter Harlequin Dream and anyone else from SA (sorry if I've forgotten), what's our support like in Adelaide in comparison to all the other clubs?
We have very good support here but hard to put a finger on given every time we play here we're outnumbered big time from Port or Crows members and season ticket holders

Right now I couldn’t give much of a s**t about finals. Want to get through the pies first. They will be out to deny us the chance. Hope the boys are focused on tomorrow not thinking about finals.
Agreed. As much as they are missing Pendles, the inclusion of Elliot, DeGoey, Howe, and Adam’s makes them a tougher proposition than round 6. You’d think they will also be playing for pride and a position in next years side under an unknown coach.

if some of our players are doing the calculations in their heads about who we might play in the first week of finals they might get jumped.

Ok so whata the general agreement on day and venue if we win and it's us vs dogs? What can be ruled in and out. I'm in Hobart and prefer Friday night or Sunday but can be flexible 😂. Selling a house and toddlers birthday Saturday. Feel like we are due to see the dons as Launceston have had their turn and it might play well being the capital after last week's sh!tfest over the tassie team. Hoping it's not Adelaide. Ready to be in the cheer squad as was sick and missed the game earlier in the year even though I had 4 free tix 👎👎👎👎

If we play Dogs it's in Adelaide
If it's Sydney we don't know
