Who is the best person in this race to set up some threads, post if someone did something wrong and then get teams working together with a month to go so awards work smoothly? If they can navigate a calendar, even better.

We play pretend with a lot but we don’t need to play pretend with this role any longer. The pretence these threads give the league autonomy and ANY of these questions matter a damn. Your LG’s will pick who they like, don’t torture these posters any more. This thread is literally the hardest part of the role.

If that’s the criteria then Pickitt should be the favourite.

Both EJW & Denied have a history of going missing or retiring for periods of time, while old Jabba is too much of a risk to get suspended mid season.

I can assure you BLUEALLTHRU that Elton Johns Wig will be honest and play a straight bat if he is selected as Admin. As my VC and committee rep we have on occasions differed on opinions and had robust discussions behind the scenes about the way going forward, he has always presented sound arguments with great rational and says what he means and takes appropriate action once a decision is made.

I'm also not sure what you mean by s**t admin after admin as in my time I have seen Ant Bear NaturalDisaster and cloud / Kennedy Parker of which none have been the same and all have brought and done something for the league in their own way. Its the way the teams vote in committee that I sometimes cant follow and don't always agree with, as far as what the Admins do I have no issue with any of them, just respect for stepping up and doing what is often a thankless job.

To be fair, the current Admin was a massive upgrade from the previous one. He even tried using commonsense in his decision making around the rules application, and promptly got vetoed by the Secret#7 so they could extract their ill-gotten pound of flesh from a hapless captain.

There was another move to read the rules as they are written, this too was voted down by the same bloc of clubs to ensure the OOBs were punished for following both the letter of the rules and the accepted practice. The “offending” captain has now missed most of the season for what no sane person would consider worthy of a slap on the wrist. A BTGID charge was brought against the club that caused the “breach” which wasn’t a breach and the same bloc voted it down because a screenshot of their team PM where they discussed screwing over another club could not be provided as evidence.

It seems in this place all teams are equal, but some are more equal than others.
