6. The Sweet FA Tribunal
The tribunal has three main functions:
- All cases of Rule 5 will be heard before the appointed committee representatives and voted on. A clear majority is required for a GUILTY verdict, a tied vote will result in a NOT GUILTY verdict.
- If a captain is handed down a penalty relating to Rule 4 by the administrator, a captain has the right to appeal the decision to the tribunal. They can do this by informing the administrator via a Private Message. The administrator will then commence the tribunal hearing whereby the committee representatives vote on whether to overturn the decision. The decision can be overturned with a clear majority vote in the tribunal.
- In the event of a captain makes a team sheet submission error under Rule 4 that is deemed low impact. The tribunal will convene to sentence an appropriate punishment that is of less severity than a suspension or points penalty for the offending captain.

Hello people of the Sweet FA. This is the Sweet FA Tribunal. It will serve three main purposes:

  1. Provide an open trial for all cases of Disrepute where all arguments by the prosecution and defense are presented before the committee and voted on in the open before the people of the Sweet FA.
  2. A penalty handed down by the administrator can be appealed to the committee. The guilty party may present their case before the committee and can overturn the administrator's decision if a clear majority of the committee vote in favour. Either that or the penalised party will piss and moan while the rest of the committee laugh and vote them guilty again.
  3. Any club captain(s) who are found guilty of a minor team sheet submission offence will be called before the committee who will decide an alternative penalty that will be handed down to the guilty party. This will usually be humiliating in nature and allow the rest of the league to laugh at them.
How this thread will work is it will only be open when the 'Tribunal is in session' and when the case is decided on the administrator will post 'Case Closed' and lock the thread. During the time it is open, only the administrator, accused parties, and the committee members may post in here. Anyone else who posts will immediately be threadbanned.

Further specific instructions will be posted when a new case brought before the Tribunal.

How can you help?

We all want to see evildoers brought to justice so if you see that somebody may have broken the rules, whether a team or individual, PM me immediately.

Tribunal is in session

CASE 1: Misspelling of Player Name by Gumbies FFC (Low Impact Team Sheet Offense)

The co-captains of Gumbies FFC Golumless and SM have been found to have misspelled the name of Fryer Tuck in the ruck position when naming their Round 1 team sheet.

Round 1 OFFICIAL Team Sheet

B: jd2010 - winty - Jeremias
HB: hotkorma - sjohns12 - Golumless
C: scezza - StFly - HawkPatrol
HF: MattWriting - DERO - jmoo wan
F: 06Premiers - Jade - GWBogan
R: FryerTuck - Quivorir - SM
INT: Bucketss - peterss

Changes
N/A

In this team sheet Gumbies captains failed to include the space in Fryer Tuck and hence referenced an entirely different Bigfooty user. The league administrator has seen this as a low impact team sheet offense and has summoned the committee to decide on an alternative penalty to be applied for a period of one week. This penalty can be anything that is not - a points penalty, suspension or compelling of the convicted of breaking site rules.

The convicted parties have the right to appeal any penalty handed down by the administrator once before the committee and overturn the decision with a clear majority.

===========================================================================================

How these cases will work is simple. Committee gathers, discussions happen and suggestions for some humiliating/funny penalties are made. Admin finally decides what it is and applies the sentence.

To be considered: It is understood that Golumless self-reported and alerted administration to the error.
Also to be considered: Dobbers kiss robbers.

snitches get stitches.
We all get to cut him.

Not much happening in here today. Maybe we should let Golumless and SM off. What does the Sweet FA public think of this motion?

Let us know in the gallery!

Good evening your honour, inferior captains, and of course to my adoring fans in the gallery.

I posit that the accused should be subjected to the felicitous undertaking of communicating only through lines copied from Dawn to Dark media pieces for the next SFA week. I think such an assignment serves a sterling reminder that one should be mindful of the value to that which is freely written in the halls of this great League, and that decorum and fastidiousness- the likes of which Golumless and SM have so flippantly dispossessed themselves this week- are faculties to be treasured and brandished with utmost commitment.
