we had one girl (who mind you was the ugliest girl I've ever seen) used to get to work at 8:59, sit there, make breakfast, coffee and read a book until 9:15 and then walk out onto the showroom like it was fine.
I had a go at her one day and she took it to head office.
What happened then. Did you get in s***?. That would have been unfair if you did.

I got a call from head office asking for me to go easy on her, when i told them that she gets there at 9, doesn't start work until 9:15 every day, times that by 5 days and shes taking home 2 and a half hours of wages that she didn't earn, but was paid.
You see, my bosses are the biggest tight ass's you'll ever meet.
2 weeks later they came down on her and shes no longer there, she quit blaming me and everyone else from causing depression.

Smokos.........and the fact smokers have this "right" to have an extra basically 30 minutes a day to feed thier habit. I know everyone is guilty of coffee breaks (same thing, but I don't drink coffee) but they are allowed to just have them, and everyone else does not get this right to a break.
And to all the people who have coffee breaks.........they would certainly stop doing it if they had to work back the extra time.

Good on your bosses - don't agree with them telling you to "go easy" on her but still, justice was done. If you are not doing your work (for whatever reason), take leave or take unpaid leave.

Something else that shits me - poker on sports channels (Fox Sports, ESPN etc). Poker is not a sport, it's a card game; and putting it on sports channels reduces the time shown to proper sports.
