Doherty, at times, and his history as a relatively successful ODI bowler suggests this too, is more than capable of holding down an end. That makes it even more inconceivable that Lyon continues this 90kms an hour, flat shit. His best has always been throwing up the ball and challenging batsmen to hit him, Doherty should work as a foil for him.
