Congrats to Charlie Cameron for his elevation to the senior list! Sando has said all year he won't promote a rookie unless they are going to play so he's a red hot chance to debut on Thursday night.

However, on the flip side - Van Berlo has gone on the long term injury list. Isn't that a 8 week minimum stay?
That's almost saying his season is over.

Did we put Van Berlo on the LTI as soon as he got injured? Think we would have as that would have been the smart thing to do.
Good to see Cameron has earned his position in the side, hopefully he's given a chance to preform in the AFL. Would most likely be our sub I'd imagine.
He was put on the LTI fairly early in the season, same as Hendo. Sando had said they weren't going to upgrade anyone until they were ready to play them.

The club has, in the past, upgraded a player but then only listed them on the emergency list, so I won't hold my breath on selection, but either way it's an indication that the club sees him as "best 25" at least on current form, an excellent achievement only two months into his career, coming in on the bottom rung of the ladder.
It helps it's for an exciting style of player in an area of the ground we desperately need someone to emerge in.

Great news on Cameron being upgraded.
I wonder if Pets will play Jeanch's attacking defender role and Cameron play up forward?
I've wondered this myself. I doubt it though considering their completely reluctance to play Petrenko anywhere but up forward. I personally think he sees the game better from defense/midfield and makes better decisions.

With Petrenko only averaging 12 disposals a game, surely he has to be the one to make way for Cameron.
Honestly how Pets and Shaw keep getting games is beyond me but the fact they've elevated a small forward from the rookie list tells me Pets time is running out (or just did).

You'd pick up the entire Adelaide defence in dreamteam if that were the case - ball would keep coming straight back in.
