A few stand alone vfl teams really got shafted this week
With all the afl games in SA the clubs that are allied with clubs would have a lot of emergency’s interstate that tend to be the better players giving the stand alones a little bit of an advantage… except 4 of the stand alone clubs are playing each other

Hardwick selling the message that nothing changes from the clubs point of view regarding expectations, which I actually like, we should go into games with the expectation that we're going to win. Whether we do or not will come down to how well the team performs and you've got to expect that missing your best ruck and best KPF for the next 8-12 weeks that it's going to take something special for us to win more than we lose over that time.

Aging body mate and the game is a lot quicker than it was for older players back in the day, noone is to blame.

Disagree 100%. Like so many of our players over the last 2 years his rehab has been f'd up and he has reinjured the same joint or muscle again. If they didn't misdiagnose the Plantar Fasciitis in the first place his return to pre-season wouldn't have been delayed by 3 months.

Tom Lynch, plantar fasciitis

"Tom had a bit of a carryover injury from the end of last season, a bit of plantar fasciitis. We had a surgical intervention just before Christmas and since then, things have gone really well. He's back out running on the track and progressing really well."

Our season finished in September, and he got operated on at Christmas time. The medical manager is a halfwit.
