Read between the lines he is obviously not putting in the effort and has been made an example of.
Miller is a tough bugger and Spuds easy ways are coming to an end; fast.

Add 15 years to him and Carlton would be offering him 500k before you could blink and say Hack.

hmmm, another knocker. Danny Jacobs? Caracella? Blumfield? forster Knight? Shall I continue? Essendon doesnt manage it's list? You only do it because you cheat!!!
Isnt that right?

Well, Richards, Cupido, Haynes, Mercuri, possibly Johns and Laycock, Essendon are fine in the small forward department, although Johns isnt real small. I'd be safer in comparing him to a semi-trailer.

Tigers sack small forward McGrath
By Jake Niall
December 4, 2003
Richmond yesterday sacked youngster Martin McGrath, the flashy forward who booted five goals on debut this year.
Richmond football director Greg Miller yesterday confirmed that McGrath - a highly skilled, but lightly built small forward - had been delisted.
Miller was unwilling to elaborate on why the club had shown West Australian McGrath, 19, the door, except to say that the Tigers were keen to balance their list, perhaps with a taller player in the pre-season draft.
Following his highlight reel debut, Richmond coach Danny Frawley described McGrath as an "excitement machine", but Frawley also may have provided a hint to why such a talent was destined for a short stint at Punt Road.
"It's been a rocky road for Marty," the coach said, adding that McGrath had to work much harder than most players to get a game. "But we can't just hand out league games. He was a kid who was struggling to come to terms with league football and the preparation that's required."

With McGrath gone, the Tigers are giving strong consideration to drafting ruckman Ben Marsh, the former Adelaide premiership player, in the pre-season draft.
Marsh has been training with Richmond after he was delisted by the Crows, with whom he fell out of favour this year. Carlton had expressed interest in Marsh prior to the national draft before opting for ex-Sydney ruckman Ricky Mott instead.
McGrath's surprise delisting means the Tigers have up to three vacancies on their senior list - they now have 37 of a possible 40 (Duncan Kellaway and Wayne Campbell will be on the veteran's list).
Miller confirmed that Marsh was a possible draftee, along with former Sydney defender Brad Seymour. Rupert Betheras, who switched from training at Punt Road to Arden Street, is considered less likely to be drafted by the Tigers.
Richmond is also unlikely to draft ex-Bomber Shane Harvey, another quick small forward.
The Tigers have reached the new minimum list requirement, but have yet to decide whether they will enter next season with 38 or 39 players.
Miller said taking the list up to 40 - the maximum with veterans - had been ruled out. "We certainly won't be picking three (players in pre-season). We want one or two."
Under the rules, the Tigers don't have to decide until the day of the pre-season draft - December 16 - whether they will take one or two players, but they must submit their player payment estimates to the AFL on Friday and can be prevented from participating in the draft if the league deems there is insufficient room in their salary cap.
McGrath was drafted at pick No. 77 in the 2001 national draft and, with an official weight of 66 kilograms, was among the lightest players in the AFL.
He managed another three games after his round-17 debut, but kicked only one more goal.
As does his wannabe clone Mark Williams. Enough talent there to be at least rookie listed by someone IMO.Originally posted by bluechampion

Richmond supporters are quite adept at hanging crap on Joel Bowden without your assistance. It's part of the standard Richmond membership package so feel free to continue taking the mickey but at least have the good manners to purchase a membership and then you can join in with the rest of us.
If you're gonna troll at least bag someone we rate..........like Houlihan or Fleming or maybe even................Marsh.
