1. I didn’t say eagles have to match it, just that if they actually wanted him to stay and not push for a move, then they would have given there is no financial or cap based reason not to reward a life member of the club.

2. Hawks were significantly younger than the eagles and had been building for the previous 2 years, I don’t know how you could possibly make the argument for a sudden turn around given you’re still clearly rebuilding, but good luck with that if that’s the case.

3. You are lying by continuing to argue that this trade is entirely driven by the hawks, because you know you’re not going to get maximum value from a situation where eagles want to trade out an older player for picks. Again I’m not saying you should be letting him go for unders, but just be honest about the reality of the situation.

Of course eagles can do nothing and I’m sure you’ll enjoy a demons/Carlton esque 10 year rebuild when Tassie come into the comp and soak up all of the talent your club is crying out for.

Swans are offering 19+22 for 13, Hawks are also offering f1+f2 for 13
Hawks have one of the worst offers for 13, Swans one of the best

Hawks would have to give up at least f1+f2 for the 2 swans picks(maybe a touch more?)

I think the Eagles would take those 2 picks, and send one of them to Richmond for Baker.
Not really an ideal deal at all, I still want more than just the original pick 14 that the Hawks offered(which is their f1+f2)

After trading 14, you still get end up with F1, F2 and F2. Essentially only giving 1 first rounder going back to it. I'd say that's pretty good for you guys. 19 goes to Rich for Baker. Everybody wins.

Provide evidence he was pushed out at all. He was offered an improved contract. He declined and asked for a trade.

Nowhere has barrass been told we want to trade him against his will.

He did it last year, he did it this year. It’s all on Barrass and it’s on Barrass to accept it.

I don't think it will but if it did do WC and Hawthorn have a plan B if this trade falls through. From Hawthorn there's whispers and murmurs but publicly the club has said the only business will be Barrass.
