Hickey is a first ruck only

Like many others - he needs to be treated like a workhorse and allow him to play to his strngths - which is adequate ruckwork and competitikn around the stoppage

he isn’t someone who can reliably rest forward - which is why we didn’t see his best at WC

I don't understand how we put the best pick on the table as well as the player.

I thought the idea was to upgrade a pick, not to give it away.

What did I say?

As it stands, WC traded Hickey for picks equal in points to pick 49. Why? He was contracted and would be best 22 at WC in 2021. He'd be playing before Vardy.
