I'm expecting us to churn through the non-core elements of the list beginning next year - giving opportunities to the kids to see if they are up to it. The kids should get their chances. The way I see it, next year there will be about 7 regular senior spots up for grabs - Treloar, Stepho, Phillips, WHE, Thomas, Mayne, Roughy, Greenwood are either gone already or likely to be phased out sooner rather than later- plus throw in injuries and a lot of opportunities will be opened as we move from a team believing we're in contention into a team looking to reset for our next challenge - we've only added Quaynor, Roughy, Noble and Daicos as regulars over a two year period. That rate of change is going to accelerate quickly.Completely with you here. Youngsters need that playing time to develop. A pseudo-rebuild phase is the best time to do it I think.
