Well fingers crossed that happens. Would easily be the best result. Surely he knows that he already has a best 22 spot when fit though? Only games he missed was due to injury. From all reports he didn't actually request a trade. Just said if one could be done that would benefit the club he'd do it to go home.
If he stays and cements himself, he's likely to stay longer.
Aren't we a higher chance of going back to back with him in the side? Keep him for the year and sort it out next year. His value will be more if he plays anywhere near how he was at the start of this year.I don't get this.
We get a year out of him that doesn't go into Collins or another player that will actually be there long term.
Then we lose him for SFA next year when he's out of contract.
I dreamt that we won another Premiership and that Hamling gave away a goal against us. Trade, trade him please. Loved that dream.

Best thing to do would be to re-sign him and maybe a handshake agreement of a trade next year? It's a win/win for both parities. If Adams stays on next year obviously both WA teams will be in his ear throughout the season. So in the second half of next season what do we do? Continue to play him or sit him out and give others the game time.
We have seen players drop off when they know they are going to another team.
No. Doesn't seem like that kind of person.hypothetical.
Would Adams 'tank' his performances towards the end of the season to 'lower' his trade value thereby greasing the wheels for a trade back to WA?
They still got pick 3 for himEvery time I hear someone say they want Adams to stay I instantly think of the Macarthy situation.

Adams isn't in the media every 5 minutes pleading for a trade to happen and advising if it doesn't then he will leave in 12 months.Every time I hear someone say they want Adams to stay I instantly think of the Macarthy situation.

Was always the case. He never officially requested a trade and said he was happy to play for dogs if no deal could be madeAFL article today saying Adams is happy to stay?
?He will be a free agent there will be no need for him to take such a big risk
