And in doing so give ourselves an extra year to turn around both his form and desire to stay at the Bulldogs (assuming he currently really is thinking about leaving). No brainer.

Yeah, 100% worth the risk keeping him for another year even if we might get a little less if things don't turn out how I hope.

Yep same, but I’d give Baz first preference to start the year with more inside time and give him the chance to perform. I think he’s in for a big year. If he doesn’t step up then Treloar can have his minutes back.

Agree completely on CD, he should be used as a utility to mop up ground balls ie floating behind stoppages, push back to help defence, front & centre up forward etc
Also covers up for Treloar and Smith on the wing if/when they get sucked into the contest.

Tim English’s partner set to play with the Vixens in Melbourne. Also apparently in a good contractual spot with Jamarra.

Both according to Jon Ralph.
Marra expected to sign a 5-6 year deal
Just working out the money side now that the cba is done

Same thing I said about naughton
All about that extra cba money now

For a third tall option
Felt he was a bit stiff to be delisted but brodie mclaughlin would be a great option

Really strong lead up target and is a deadeye in front of goals

NAUGHTON KNOCKS BACK MEGA OFFERS

WESTERN Bulldogs star Aaron Naughtonrebuffed huge rival interest to re-sign for a mega eight years at the Dogs.

As reported by AFL.com.au's Inside Trading on Wednesday, Naughton had closed in on a big new deal with the Bulldogs in recent weeks and he has now committed until 2032.

It makes him the longest contracted player in the competition – overtaking Nick Blakey (2031) and Harry McKay (2030), Brennan Cox (2030) and Clayton Oliver (2030).
It came amid huge rival interest from Sydney, West Coast and Collingwood, with Essendon, Geelong and Melbourne also among the clubs to have shown interest in the high-flying forward.

The Swans had made a big play for Nick Larkey before he re-signed with North Melbourne. – Callum Twomey

Don’t we already have Lobb, Darcy, and Khamis pushing for that spot?
Extra depth, can't go wrong with extra goal kicking depth

Esp I believe we will use Croft as a defender next year

Saints board have coffield to dogs now.

One even said they wish him more ACLs ... christ

To be fair, some of the nuffies on our board would say similar things if/when our players leave. Don't think its the general feeling from the majority

Ok gotta stop and skip 10 pages as just can’t keep up.
Recruiters are shite for getting Lobb yet if they’re now orchestrating a trade out for him are they still shite or fixing an issue fast? I’m confused.

One would assume if it was known within the club then Sweets exit interview must have been ordinary and assume a cheap hybrid option who can play forward is on the radar.

Best we all take a Bex and wait until trade period ends to see the net result.
In regards to game plan and Bevo, until we see what transpired next year we haven’t the foggiest about changes. Just keep the knives sharp but in their case.

Hmm I recall nothing but positivity and well wishes on here when Dunkley announced he was leaving.

Saints fans seem pretty livid about potentially losing Coffield.

I’m happy to be chasing him, think he’s the type who has heaps of ability, bit small early on and therefore slow to develop then injuries hit

He has upside at the right price
