Higgins -> Brennan methinks...

Been tossing it up all week and gut feel says Higgins will be heavily managed for a few weeks at least.

Not a good sign that you have two weeks off, come back and it flares again in the 2nd quarter of your first game back.

12 trades left now...

Will look to do a big move next week, Robinson -> Muston and then a nice upgrade somewhere, maybe Bate -> Davis / Roo

Why would you get Brennan?

Pulled the trigger

Raines to Broughton
Walker to Franklin

91.1k left

Next week, gonna downtrade aaron joseph to muston for 90k

Week after, gonna use the 180k + rich at around 270k to get Bartel @ 450k. Fingers crossed it all pans out because if it does my team will be this with 9 trades in hand:

B: Goddard, Cornes, Lockyer, Drummond, Adcock, Hargrave, Grimes (Suban, Broughton)
C: Bartel, Corey, Selwood, Kornes, S.Tuck, Haselby (Anthony, Muston)
R: Cox, McIntosh (Jacobs, Browne)
F: Chapman, Pavlich, Deledio, Giansiracusa, Higgins, Franklin, Ziebell (Dowler, Warren)

Another 3 trades after that and I'll have 22 locks (Suban, Ziebell and Dowler/Warren for Rookie, Star Forward, Rookie).

he could easily average 90 + from hear on...but he would be the most frustrating player to have

im definately considering getting him, not sold on higgins so i think im gonna bite the bullet with him and trade him for buddy/brennan i also have 150 k in the bank which im gonna upgrade walker for o keefe

thoughts on this?

Can bring in any forward, really considering Davis but also considering O'Keefe Brennan and Sylvia.

Thoughts?
Davis: on fire but pricey
O'Keefe: reliable and proven, priced about right
Brennan: relatively consistent this year but a history of going off the rails
Sylvia: Big risk, big reward. Has the best scoring potential out of the 4 (other than maybe Davis), but can also get you 40s

Ok, in my forward line, I currently want to get rid of Walker, Krakouer and Mitch Brown.

Which one of these is the best to get rid of, and who would be the best pick up? Looking at going for Goodwin, but unsure. Players that I can afford are Petrie, Johnson, Goodwin etc.

Traded out Walker as he's not gonna get any better in score IMO. Gone to Austin despite him probably not keeping his spot.

Not to mention my Scotland trade last week has absolutely fked me over. Should have gone with instinct instead of reading on here lol

Am only really considering 2 different trades this week and at the moment I'm not sure which one I'll do. The trades are:

1) Rich to Swan

2) Ziebell to SJ

Both Rich and Ziebell are close to peaking if they have not peaked already so it is approximately the right time to trade them to a premium.

Either of the above trades would leave me with either a little more or a little less than $100k in the bank and 12 trades remaining.

Swan has a low B/E so looks as though he'll go up a significant amount over the next few weeks, whereas SJ has a high B/E which is not impossible for him by any stretch of the imagination but I would think he will decrease slightly in price after this round.

Which option do people think is better?

Anyone? :p

Yeah exactly what I was thinking. Not sure how the **** I will decide.

According to FF genie Davis is 12k more then what he should be so i think you may be able to get him cheaper. Also i think you should see how he plays once Didak is back in the team because when Didak was playing this year Davis's scores were nothing what they were like since he has been out of the team. I think this might be because they both share time in the mid when both are playing compaired to Daivs getting much more if Didak is not in the side.

Who are the other forwards in your team because if you can pick up anyone why not get someone a little more concistant compaired to the other 3 you have named?

I think option 1 is better because Swan will rise in price and i cant see him getting any lower. If you get swan you also increase your avg per week by 41 compared to 36 which is not too much more i guess but Swan did get hurt 1 week which would have put his avg down a bit lower. Also I think the forwards seem to drop and rise more often like Johnson is more likely to get a lower score then Swan so it should give you a better chance to get Johnson another week.

Guys need some advice on weather i should trade or not. Here are my ideas.Got 11 trades with 165k in the bank. I have posted a few ideas like this but keep getting different ideas and now im down to my last options on weather i will trade or not this week.

I have Rich and Otten starting and i would have liked to have traded Rich to Swan so i can have a big mid in my team but i am 3k short. I was thinking should i be downgrading Higgins to Franklin which would then give me the money to upgrade Rich to Swan.

Also i could go Otten straight to Swan.

Or

I upgrade Suban who i have starting to Bock who only has a b/e of 74 which he should be able to get.

Or do nothing??

Cheers

My trades this week ended up being:

Raines > Grima

Higgins > Deledio

I decided to hang on to Suban given his BE is still gettable and the obvious fact I would have copped a zero if I traded him.

Higgins is 50-50 to play and there is no way he will be 100% even if he does manage to take his place on the field.

That's the thing though, I have all the consistent big forwards. That's why the ones I'm considering are the likes of Davis, O'Keefe, Brennan, Sylvia etc. Maybe I should just hold onto Higgins. :(

Given my lack of trades i decided to just stick with Beams to Kornes. Leaving Higgins as my 6th forward.

Crossing my fingers that he plays this week, if not i guess Walker can take his place ;).

Trading out Krakour and was thinking about Davey, Sylvia, Brennan or Gia but don't know who would be the better option. Gia is worrying with Higgins coming back and the other three could be very up and down.

What do you think?
same predicament,
sorta narrowed it down to Brennan and Goodwin.

thinking outside of the square here and maybe going for medhurst?

but really, Goodwin seems like he's being reeled in by father time, when ive watched him, doesnt seem to run around as much.
With brennan it seems vossy has well noted how capable in the midfield he is and could very well be a consistent player, but turned off by the fact he plays back up ruck sometimes.

or could i just trade ziebell to ROK? due to being 3k short of doing krak - ROK
or just let krak depreciate, undoing his good work?
