Somewhat flying under the radar due to the plethora of talent in all his sides, ***** has been a consistent and reliable force through the midfield, but has shown his versatility when forced to play as a defender or forward for Vic Country at the Under 18 Championships. ***** speed and cleanliness below his knees are two traits that standout amongst other midfielders in the crop, finishing equal second in the 20m sprint at the National Combine with a stunning 2.88-second run, ***** has no trouble showing this speed on-field.

Pretty impressive draft profile...............









The player who this is describing is Coby Burgiel, who battled through injuries last season and didnt get a chance to make a debut.

Hopefully with his health he too will be able to make an impact this season along with the rest of our young midfield stock.

Just back him in boys. Best case scenario his mail is good (which I believe it to be) and it’s happy days. Worst case scenario you get a week of dreamy bliss picturing that excitement machine in preseason gliding over the Mineral Resources turf before we all burn it to the ground on the night of November 20th.

Hawthorn has flown Dan Curtin over to Melbourne to interview him today at their headquarters. Right in the mix for pick 4 if the Roos overlook him. Hawthorn's final round of interviews always kept to the last week. Connor O'Sullivan also at Hawks today for a last chat.

With that being said, this could also just once again be a leverage play from them, ruling out us being able to trade our F1 to someone else to get Curtin, Hawks goal may be to get us to accept their offer of 4 and a F1 again lol.
