I have been one of the harshest critics of King Nissie I (this was my name for him)

That said, he was and still is greatly admired by Eddie Everywhere. Put simply, King Kissie I was prepared to push it back to the VaFL.

What Nissie did not do was to use the media to criticise big brother.

Not sure the criticism is warranted in this case - Trev has been vocal but directly with those clowns at AFL house. Just because you do not hear about it is not reason to criticise us for being weak.

He may well have been, but what's come of any of his behind the scene vocals with AFL house?

Remove the 20% discount from Academy and Father/Son picks (if not for all then at least 1st rounders)

Or modify it so you can only get it on your first one and if you finish top 6 then the discount becomes a penalty (i.e need to pay a higher points)

This is the big one for me thought - Second is that the team MUST have a live pick in the corresponding round that they match a bid in.

With 40 years of afl you would think having an afl legend not from Victoria would promote the game being a national comp .

But no VFL

The better point, is why the * is there a medal for being pick 1. Is it just another acknowledgment of “bravery” by the AFL? So brave, you deserve a medal for having your name called first. At least call it a trophy ffs. Being 2023, did the other guys get ribbons with “I participated in the AFL draft” on them?

I'm torn on Edwards. He could be a very special Ruck. I'm more concerned about other issues Phil was referring to.

ZZ, Simpson, Delean, Sanchez would all be great. Some HBF left with talent too but I'd use a later pick on one
