Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Keys you may like to sticky this post & move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread if you have one.

Roberts seems a wonderful kick (on one side). Feels like what I view as/hope to be a recent-era WC would pick though.
Like Simpson, Prestia vibes for me.
Dealean seems like a hungry campaigner. Admittedly pretty skilful. Prefer De La Rue tbh. Don't mind Sanchez but wouldn't want it early.
Will be really interesting if Murphy continues to drop, presumably due to lack of quickness up against AFL forwards #unicorns
Hoping for ZZ with our third pick, or I suppose if A. Reid is still there but not really sold on him, has tools though and maybe would develop well here. Weatherill later more appealing.
Kinda get the Freijhah appeal, but a little suspect to me.
Don't want Stevens given our future midfield mix.
Don't rate Arie.
Drizzy not sure, does fit a need though. Rather see what we can do with Lorenz.
Would love Hall with our last, think he's undersold a little based on perceived lack of upside and average skills.
Mitch Edwards **** knows.
Hastie is exciting and still pretty raw, are we in a possition to take a speculative flier though? Could well continue to improve.
Like Logan Morris, but not for us.
McAuliffe disposal too yuck.
Fonti big eh.

Shame there is no standout slider this year like Dev Rob and Matthew Johnson over the past few years - guess that's because our pick is so ******* late. Happy to trade out of 30 if there is a club willing to pay up abit.

Ollie Murphy has dropped a long way, was 10-15 in a lot of rankings. Schoenmaker another although not quite as highly rated for as long (more of a late riser who is back to about where he was initially rated).

Edwards also.

There are still a lot of great options. If we think ZZ gets to 40 (or we are willing to trade a future to get another 30’s pick for him) maybe we even look at Archer Reid. 203cm key forward, excellent under age year, Vic country (rather than metro). Actually aligns perfectly with our drafting profile 🤣

Says we have clubs already offering us picks for pick 30
I would be happy to just trade it to Brisbane for some minor concessions .

30 + 49 for 31 + 42 + f3

Use Brisbane's f3 to get hawks 46

31 cooper Simpson - classy balanced mid

40 keen Sanchez crafty HFF

42 Zane Zakostelsky project KPD

46 Kane Macualiff inside bull with pace

I think we can do better than that. I recon we could get an F2 as well

I have been one of the harshest critics of King Nissie I (this was my name for him)

That said, he was and still is greatly admired by Eddie Everywhere. Put simply, King Kissie I was prepared to push it back to the VaFL.

What Nissie did not do was to use the media to criticise big brother.

Not sure the criticism is warranted in this case - Trev has been vocal but directly with those clowns at AFL house. Just because you do not hear about it is not reason to criticise us for being weak.
I'm not saying we're weak at all, but I'm saying our current approach isn't seeming to yield much nowadays.

Sometimes you need to let people see the sausage being made, and the afl would ****ing hate it. Last night's draft should be an inflection point for us and a whole bunch of the other successful clubs.

had to laugh at mick abblett last night trying to pretend the first round blowing out to 29 ******* picks is somehow representative of how "deep" it is. no mate the system is an absolute joke.
This is by far the best draft cohort ever assembled. Never before have we seen 29 first rounders taken in a single draft!

So we offered our F1 for Curtin (to GWS and Adelaide) and then for Caddy according to this
**** North are really cheapskates. "North Melbourne offered up two picks in the teens"
