Talked about Simmo a fair bit. Think pretty highly of him although they thought Wardrop was a bit of an odd character and weren't overly complimentary. Still, they said Simmo rates him and knows exactly what he's getting. Didn't say he was a bad guy, just that he is odd.

They mentioned that they couldn't understand what Collingwood were doing recruiting Howe as that didn't fill needs.

Then they started talking about draft howlers, which was funny. One of the more senior guys was a recruiter back when Priddis was drafted and they were very keen but didn't draft him because they already had Simon Black, even though he was towards the end of his career. Ended up recruiting some guy who never played a game. Can't remember much else but was quite interesting. Said this draft isn't as shallow as most people say, just that clubs draft players a lot more evenly than other years as there's no clear standouts outside the top ten and someone clubs rate around 20 they could pick up at 50.
