This West Coast trade might actually be the dumbest we've seen in modern history.

Owies was getting delisted..... And he's average and 27.

Giving up a top 3 pick is insane. Clarke might be sacked before Christmas.

Surely it's not just him though, they'd have to agree to trade out pick 3 as a collective at board level. I'm actually bemused.

I'm shocked we didn't say "hey Matt, hold your horses, if you wait 24 hours we can do Baker and 10 for pick 3." It's a better deal. They can pick Owies as a DFA.

I'm so confused.

there is no way this is happening... surely WCE are not this desperate for Baker and a nearly delisted Owies.

I am stoked with pick 14 for baker but WCE coasts list is not in the position to give up pick 3 in the strongest draft in a while...

If all goes to plan and we end up with 1, 6, 10, 11, 14, 20, 23, 24 we will easily be able to satisfy them for it

If we gave LolNorth the two scenarios that you mentioned, we need to be getting pick 25 back

6 & 14 for 2 & 25
or 10 & 11 for 2 & 25

If i had a choice between dealing with north and the eagles id much prefer the eagles.
Cause we would hand over baker and 1 first rounder instead of two firsts if dealing with North
