The Age reporting Brisbane have cooled on the idea of getting Astbury
If true you'd think
1- we're asking too much
2- they are just trying to get him for less
3- the age has no idea

How about 4 - He failed his medical. With 2 serious knee injuries in 4 years they might have cooled because they aren't confident in his knees holding up.

The lions are going to struggle to do all the deals they want to do and keep the points they need for their academy players.

Bell, bastinac and Astbury want in. That's three second round picks going out. They have brought in pick 17 for redden and it looks like pick 26 or something for aish(gee they are losing on that deal). I haven't done the maths but I think they might be a pick short. Hopefully we can work something out as I think it's really important to hold pick 12 and our future picks. If we can't get the extra pick I'm hoping the blues will accept pick 31 and a player. Personally I think McBean is excess and is never going to make it as a kpf. I'd offer him up.

A- They would be silly knock back any player that wants to play there.
B- They are so light on KPF and KPD its not even funny. Name 1 other decent KPD apart from Carlisle that is looking at moving clubs.
