Conca's AFL form is so far ahead of anything Kennedy has produced, I've no idea how you can arrive at that conclusion.
Really? I think you do.

really 74games with about 6 good bits on the highlights reel. i Probably an exaggeration by me ,but we need more than 1 full game and two 1.5 quarter games from him to justify his existence on our list(injured or not).Conca's AFL form is so far ahead of anything Kennedy has produced, I've no idea how you can arrive at that conclusion.

considering Kennedy was on an afl list in 2013 to conca's 2011, yeah right. It's still a shitload more than Kennedy has produced.
He has underachieved because of injury.considering Kennedy was on an afl list in 2013 to conca's 2011, yeah right.
weighs up well on dollar to dollar value. cmon stylo he's under achieved injured or not
agree, but 5 years on a list it maybe becoming more apparent that he has a body which is not up to the physical requirements of afl footy. He has underachieved because of injury.

it's becoming a bit repetitive.[/QUOTE]
A little like posters constantly bagging our players

for his age, money to output he is.we will need to move on from here as this is the wrong thread for discussing ReeceI didn't say he hasn't underachieved, he has. I was just responding to your assertion that he's somehow behind Kennedy, which is ridiculous.
that's precisely my point , insufficient to build a case against seasoned balls and all AA calibre superstars , wouldn't you thinkTo be fair, they are all unproven
I can see why he slipped now. That's where I see him as well, I think he'll improve a lot in his marking when he gets bigger but I don't see him being a game changer like Goldstein or Natanui.
That's because that is bollox. In no way is Kennady ahead of Conca.I never said he doesn't have a crack. The problem is he is tiny and has below average disposal which is unforgivable for a player <180cm. His tank and capacity to lay defensive pressure has also been questioned. The fact he is carving up the VFL every week yet looked way out of his depth when he got his opportunity just shows how big a difference there exists between the competitions. I wish him well at Melb because he was a courageous player but he's going to struggle unless he fixes his kicking and defensive aspects of his game. I'd be worried be worried for Conca if Kennedy was ahead of him tbh.

I think we need to groom him as a back pocket that can go in the guts.
We have the extra depth to do this now
Up to 5 Victorian clubs have made contact with Ollie Wines in the hope of luring him home. Hopefully after taking a stab at Hartlett last season it was a part of a multi prong plan, either we land Hartlett who would have added that quality midfielder that we wanted or we forced Port to pay overs to keep him so that there was less money for Wines and we can pry him loose next year.
I see Boak added another year to his contract -at the same time making hopeful noises about Wingard and Wines resigning. Hopefully only news is wingard this off season.I for one am glad we've pushed Ollie Wines out of Ports salary cap, it will make it much easier for Collingwood to recruit him
