We have surplus small forwards.

Furthermore, I anticipate us trying to bolster our defence even further at the draft because Banks could easily end up in the guts while Brown could also go up the ground like Hugo

This is part of the problem I think. Some do not adequately recognise what we need and what we do not need.

For example the Lambert role, it is redundant, we do not want players to play this Lambert role, oppositions are well aware of it and countered it, it is old news

This is why we still persist with Pickett. He has been consistent but if we need to sorry son, your playing up forward because as the everywhere man you can and we need someone else on the flank

Baker started the year as a small forward but ended it back in the backline with stints in the midfield, Short was also pushed into the midfield due to our lack of depth (something that Hopper and Taranto fixes and means they can play best position and also shore up our backline)

All may of been recruited as small forwards (including Rioli) but none of them play that position anymore

RCD will get traded/delisted.

Rcd will def be traded he will be viewed like will brodie , r1 draftee battled for reg game time , difference is that was at Richmond who won most weeks vs GC who lost most of the time . Bookmark it , he will be on a list next year , wouldn’t surprise at all if he did well either
