Why are the Cats the only ones interested in that Bowes trade? its too good to be true. Pick 7 just falls in their lap and they get to renegotiate his contract.

Here we are screaming for just another a Top 20 pick and we may lose Graham

I like how the bulldogs now say they discovered Dunkley. stole them right under Sydney's nose.
WTF was richmond recruiters thinking that year given he was based at punt road?
"Daniel Rioli."

Just thought about which club is enough of a bottom feeder to take on a player who refuses a behavioural clause to get a easy leg up. Dodoro.

Quite a few claiming that Jack Graham is needed to play the Lambert role.
Wouldn't Baker, Short, or Ross be capable of that role? Especially since they are all almost utilities at the moment.
Short can’t tackle too save himself.

It's not the Lambert role. It's the role of playing on the half forward flank for Richmond that Graham and Lambert have done since 2018. We've already lost Lambert and if Graham leaves we have to replace him too which style wise none of the guys you mention above come close too.

Graham averages anywhere between 25-29 pressure acts per game a season, of those between 15-17 are in our forward half. Our game plan when up and running is built on locking the ball in our forward half of which Graham has year on year not only has he been comfortably the best player in our team for it but the entire league as well.

I'm of the opinion we could still do with getting another decent midfielder into the team, especially if Graham is going to leave.

Cotchin not a premier mid anymore and might not stay on the park.
Prestia might not stay on the park. I know injuries can happen to any team but with these two it's a very necessary consideration. With them both we're up there. Without either then we are significantly worse.
Taranto not a proven full time mid yet but I'm sure that's why we want him, to play midfield.
Hopper is a pure mid, so that's a tick.
Martin and Bolton more forwards.

So where's our midfield? Short/Ross/Sonsie are good but they won't carry us far especially if Cotchin and Prestia get injured.

I know it isn't popular but Matt Crouch on the cheap would be a nice addition. At his best, out of that environment he doesn't want to be in anymore, he can get it 35 times at AFL level. Wouldn't we benefit from that?

Darcy Parish could be talked out of Essendon?

Heck even Luke Dunstan who couldn't hold down a spot after crossing to Melbourne. He wouldn't be a downgrade on Graham...

Surely there is someone available that we could afford, even just as really handy depth at worst?

Btw I'm talking midfielders capable of starting at centre bounces. For what it's worth I still think Pickett could be that player. We could then add a different second winger like Ralphsmith.

If that were to happen, who would we get to replace Peggy and Benny they’ve been incredible for us
