Yeah im watching deadline day on the AFL website and they made a point to say representatives from Richmond just arrived but likely only for the free feed.

Classic Balmy

As much as I hate to admit it, but yeah they have.
picked up 3 non best 22 players 2 of which will be delisted, took on a huge contract to land pick 7 in a shite draft

Apparently Lachie Hunter on the move out of the Dogs but the interested club hasn't been named.

If we've just arrived at Marvel (was this true prodigy ?) then do you think we have one more deal up our sleeves? Would we perhaps want him to replace Lambert?

Or maybe just there to do a pick swap of sorts?
No no no no hopefully no

Do you have the cojones to make a welcome thread?

Strong ageee, handy player but if you believe what you hear he and others at the bulldogs and a lack of professionalism is a very big factor into why Josh Dunkley has lodged a trade request 2 years running

I am hoping the Lions don't get Dunkley. Would help them a lot.

Would ease the pressure on Neale. He's an absolute gun.
Lions get Dunkley and they're flag faves.

Colina might be the worst player getting a VFL game in the comp at the moment. Would need to improve remarkably to even look like he belongs at that level.
Geez,I wonder why that might be? Played footy about 5+ years ago, comes back in July after playing basketball for those 5 years and you expected what? John Coleman type ability?
Get a grip some of you people, he’s a category B rookie who is a long term look. At least wait until he’s had a single AFL pre-season to change his body shape and fit in with the game style.

Even with Cotchin and Jack likely looking at their final years, I can see the expected competition for positions will mean there will be players looking for new homes in next years trade period which would therefore hopefully see us with an opportunity get back into the first round of the draft.

It is going to be a very interesting, and hopefully very exciting 2023 ahead

If five team interchange I think more like they could play on. no guarantee but depends on the development of others as well.

no point developing the players for the sake of development, they need to have ability

Ryan is worse.

If he has ANY hope at all of turning into some sort of decent footbaler it will be bulking up and playing in the ruck. Not as a key forward.

A lot of wishful thinking on here with Ryan.

A massive step up for any key position player from VFL to AFL. So far he has struggled massively against any decent ruck at VFL level, which is fine given he is 21 but there is little guarantee he will be ready to contribute next season.

Very happy Soldo didn't want to leave.

Ryan is not KPP, he is ruck

Soldo was a cat B rookie and has become a very handy back up ruck. He didn’t get a game for two years so we have to give Colina a hell of a lot of time before we make a call - he’s coming from a fair way back
