Hopefully we'll walk away from the Hopper trade if we think GWS are being unreasonable.

Personally I have no interest in a deal simply to prove that we make trades happen when players nominate us no matter what and that's why we are different from clubs A, B and C. Basically that's a recipe for getting bent over. Rejecting next years first and pick 30 means that GWS are still effectively stuck in two first round draft picks territory.

Walking away from a bad deal would be as much of a win in my books as a member as getting a good one. Anyhow after having already given away 12 and 19 for Taranto not too fussed if Hopper fell over.

Couldn't agree more.

Hopper would play a great role for us, but is not worth what they are asking. His disposal and decision making is actually not good and most Giants supporters were screaming for him to be dropped for quite some time. We would be better off looking elsewhere or selecting a first rounder next year.
