Not sure about that. They're dead keen. We will probably give them something back to help them get their other deals done.

There's a ruck merry go round every year. Our two rucks of the last decade cost us 2 x 3rd rounders. You don't need a star ruckman, you just need a competitor. Plus Ryan will be primed to take over Nank dull time in 2-3 years. We're setup nicely.

Which for the most part it just shit getting shifted around. Finding quality ones is a different story.

Its reflected in the fact that we've had two very ordinary ruckman over the last decade.

Geelong have been asking for a deal for Lord for Ratugolea. At least they ****ing try to get something they want back. What is 2 picks in the 40's over 2 years ? I also think the Power would have seriously considered a soldo for Duursma deal if it was Richmond he requested to go to. Their window is now and Soldo was the best available player for their biggest need & has actually won a Premiership before & would have definitely won 2 if he hadn't got injured. He was a lot more valuable to Port than 2 x picks in the 40's

Freo’s second round pick this year, before the compos and trading etc, was 23 anything close to that next year would be a phenomenal get for a back up ruckman

Edit- I forgot North got their stupid ****ing charity pack from the AFL, with their 2 future end of first round picks that they’ve already traded, so our pick would slide back a couple of places. Still a good deal though, especially if Freo miss finals again
