How? If we're not using 63 it makes no difference does it.

You can always try and package it with something else for a trade.

He is gone either way; That was the case the moment he told you he wanted to join Fremantle.
Cats could off Kersten for Dockers pick 63 and Ballantyne, for example.

And if they send Kersten to the PSD, what message are Geelong sending? You won't help an out of contract player get to his nominated club even though they'll take him with #3 in the PSD anyway. LOOKOUT!!!! Geelong are so tough!!! Lol

I think it's likely too but I don't like the chasm between 7 and 56 (or whatever it'll be), hope we can snag at least one second rounder from the Suns.

Which leaves us with 35 on the senior list.

37 = pick 40
38 = pick 63
39 = pick 73 or an extra 2 rookies
40 = pick 79 or an extra rookie

Highly unlikely, they're trying to build a list of players that want to be there. Retention is their big issue, drafting a MA player against his will would be madness.
Voss left the building a while ago. Wouldn't happen.

Perhaps Barlow plus future 3rd for #26? Or Silvagni plus future 2nd to Brisbane for #21/#22?

We have built instant quality depth with these trades.
We can afford to take some punts and either draft or rookie some punts and use DeLuca or Grey to top up

Only way I see us letting go of pick 40 is if we are giving the cats 40 and 63 for 42 and Kersten
