Ok the latest;
Jacobs could be involved in a 3 way deal Griffiths to
west coast and spangher to Carlton ( if that happens then Macguane won't be playing at carlton)
The blues and bombers are into mackinely, walker is the player being used a pick from the crows could
be traded to west coast though mackernan and
seller are being mentioned as possibles to Carlton.
If essendon succeed in getting Ben Mackinely then
we mite be involved,
Some thing like this ( & I'm only summizing from
what I'm being told )
Tambling and nahas to dogs
Hill and stack to west coast
West coast 2nd rd pick to Richmond
Ben mackinely to essendon
Houli to Richmond.
I'm pretty confident that Sherman is a done deal for
our 2nd pick, a 3 yr deal at 300k a year. Will be announced by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest.
We have made enquires about brennen but it looks like Rich and brennen will be traded to west coast
for pick 4, west coast will on trade brennen to the
suns for a high pick, west coast will trade a late pick or player to the lions as well, early stages of
negotiations.
The trade negotiations have Been frantic. I even spotted (personally) Neale Daniher talking to what looked like a Carlton official tonight.
We are chasing a ruckman as well, Trent West is a chance, Dyson from Essendon was a chance but
hird might ruin that.
Rance is still a chance to leave, freo have also made a pitch for his services, hawthorn r still favoured the dogs have also spoken to him, we though have not
been offerred anything that see as satisfactory, thursfield has received enquiries from the saints
and swans.
Like I said in one of my earlier posts don't surprised if we make a play for a gun mid or a key position
player. We have money to spend and are prepared to trade to get what we want.
Mitch brown Travis Cloke Taylor Walker are 3
Players that we are making a plays for, I don't know how reliable the walker source is though. We r still considering offering up players like foley and Jackson but only if the right deal looks a possibility.
Heppel is our 1st preferred choice in the draft. The only thing that is certain is pick 6 will be the only
thing not to be traded unles its for pick 5 or 4 other picks r up for grabs for the right player and only if it
can be replaced with other picks that are better or similar.
We are still trying to get a top 20 pick.

-Justin Sherman
-Bachar Houli
What the F are our list managers smoking
Richard Tambling is a shite load better than Houli
Robbie Nahas had a down season but is not that much worse than Sherman
And we improve our position in the second round by 1 place
That is not good trading if that's how it's going to go down
To add to that Trent West? Not sure that we need to trade for a VFL ruckman. The way things are going most sides will probably play with a genuine ruck and then a utility ruck. So why stock up on another so so genuine ruckman when we have Angus and Browne with Vickery and Posty as potential second ruckmen. Trent West would want to come cheap if that's the case.

Just noticed that West Coast may get the steal of the century here too. Pick 4 for Rich and a pick inside 15 will mean that for pick 4 they will pick up Rich and Darling. That's good trading.

Magic you're on another planet sometimes. Griffiths is Johanathon Griffiths from the Crows who is a ruckman who is yet to cement a spot. Griff to WC has been remoured for sometime. And would you mind sharing who you think WC are chasing with pick 4. I would have thought that Daniel Rich was their main target.

Settle down, I started thinking Ben because it is a Tigers thread as was misled by the presuption of relavance as I only recently returned to viewing the thread.
As for pick 4, not I am not going to say who Bris are chasing with pick 4, (assuming they are which would not surprise me) if they trade Rich and others because I want the Tigers to get him presuming Brisbane and myself are thinking about the same player . We could be thinking about the same player since it is not as blooming obvious as Martin with the Swans last year but for the acute observer someone IMO has stuck his head out at least a little this year and said pick me metaphorically speaking!!!

I'm a bit confused are you talking National draft or player already playing Afl? With pick 4 they do have eyes for one player in the national FJ has been keeping tabs on him since under 16's, that's Heppel that's who they want and thought they had him done and dusted with pick 6 until his 40 possies in the semi final, now the suns look likely to pick him up at 5 if he is not gone by 4, though there dilemma is Gaff, the Suns are desperate for him. Lynch is the other player we want if heppel is gone
at the moment it's line ball with which one they will go for if they had the choice, lynches engine is the key, his
beep test at the combine might be the convincing factor.

What surprises me is this. He was playing with the tigers in training from what I read so Heppel, being Victorian, why didn't Richmond get the reigns pulled so Heppel could stay in Victoria behind the smoke and mirrors?

Because players like heppel who played state football under 16's, are invited to train amongst all the afl clubs. Each club nominates a player of choice, I think we have drafted some other players who have trained with us. On heppel though we were happy just to be left on the hbf where he was regarded highly but not a top 10 player, FJ saw him dominate in the state side in the under 16's where dominated the midfield which is where his natural position is, then last year for vic country he was put on hbf and was left there in the TAC Cup right up until finals this year where he dominated again. I don't think a) they thought he would be played there and b) if he did play there they didn't think he would dominate like hd did, just a chance for us to watch him again if it occurred.

You don't need me to tell you the Ablett is
gone. Interesting thing is will the cats use there picks this year coz that will also have a bearing on trades and picks.
What will be interesting is Jarred Brennen, it could be that Ablett has dried up all there
salary cap space and may be no room for him, its believed ablett changed his mind and elected to stay, then the suns threw everything at him, so we are a chance with him but west coast are his likely suitor if that evetuates.
What's also interesting is clubs are putting enormous pressure on the bris out of contracted players due to the suns approaches and there tight cap restraints, there could be a few more leave still.
