I hope Kerr comes Scott, you listed his bad record well what about BBBH before he came here he was the worst. Also BBBH was no angel when he arrived and a lot of stuff was hushed up by the club and look at his influence on Ricky Mott !

By the sound of it Kerr is as fat as Ricky.:D

Seriously though it amazes me that Kerr has only ever once finished top 3 in WCE's B&F.

Dodgy knee, 'dodgy personality' and BBBH was worse than Kerr?!!!

Re: Hall gone to the dogs

the Ox on sen radio seems sure the dogs will offer Hall 2yrs against 1yr at the Swans, Ox is involved with the doggies this year, anyone know if the ox will be involved with them next year too? Just curious...

If the Swans were to go hard after Daniel Kerr, what would you guys expect the trade offer to be?

Obviously pick 11 would be in there, but what else?

I guess it would depend heavily on whether you end up trading O'Keefe.

Kerr wants to stay an Eagle

Sportal - September 25, 2008, 4:29 pm

Superstar Eagle Daniel Kerr has expressed a strong desire to remain with West Coast for the rest of his playing days.

In recent weeks there has been strong suggestion that Kerr could be headed out of the club and potentially to a Melbourne-based team in October's trade period.

The main source of oxygen fanning the flames of that line of thinking has been the club's reluctance to grant Kerr a desired long-term deal believed to be five years in length.

A possible reason for the club's unwillingness to offer the premiership midfielder such a deal would be due to the bash-and-crash, in-and-under brand of football he has subjected his body to for most of his eight-year career which could put a question mark of his longevity.
This has led to proctracted contract negotiations between Kerr and West Coast since the middle of the year.

However, Kerr declared on Thursday that leaving the Eagles would be a last resort for him and that he thought both parties could come to an agreement by as soon as next week.

"In a perfect world my (preference) would be to play my career out as an Eagle," Kerr told Perth radio station _6PR_

"And that's probably why I'm seeking a longer term deal because I just wanna not have to think about contracts probably for the rest of my career."

"I'd imagine they would have been getting it done within the next week or so and hopefully I can come out and say that it's all over and we're gonna stay with the Eagles and finish my career."

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

As I said POKER FACE TIME ;).......all BS!!!

Do you really REALLY think that Swans medical staff would not have put him on the scales told him his weight before he slothed into his bathroom... with hangover and read the dial!!!?????

PLEAAAAAAZZZZE!!!!

My greatest fear is guys like

Patrick Veszpremi
Craig Bird
Jarrad Moore
Kieren Jack

will all be on the table and i dont want to lose any of them as they are going to be a big part of the Swans future. I wish this Kerr deal would just go away.

The issue with these players is that none has improved to the extent that they will command what we hope they'll be worth in the not too distant future. Jack would be worth more than he cost us, given he came via the rookie list and most clubs would see he shows genuine potential as a long term AFL player. But that doesn't mean he'd command anywhere close to a first round pick. And while we're excited with what we see in Vez, he's not shown enough (had a chance to show enough) to suggest he's worth more than the Swans paid for him last year.

The art of trading should be to trade assets when they are at their peak value - if you're going to trade them at all.

I really can't get too excited about Kerr at the Swans. Yes, on his day he is a superb player but I'm not convinced he's as consistently good as he was made to look playing alongside Judd and Cousins. And we don;t have players remotely approaching the ability of Judd or Cousins to bring the best out of him. There's no doubt our midfield would be better for his inclusion, but I too baulk at the cost of him. And I don't see any realistic way the Swans could get the necessary currency even if they had their heart set on him. Not unless they're happy to say goodbye to O'Keefe at the very very least. And there's no doubt which of the two I'd rather watch in the red and white next season.

Shhhhhh!!

"On what we have seen to date, Kerr is worth all 4 of them"
"they have no high quality youngsters on their list other than Veszpremi"
"Sydney have very little that WCE woudl want (apart from Vespremi)...Sydney would be one of the last clubs I'd like to go to, considering their list"
"As has already been identified, Sydney do not have either the early picks or young kids to satisfy West Coast"

This is why the nuffies wrongly predict Sydney will slide every year. They watch one game a week but they are experts on everyone's list.

Jacovic just said on 'afl teams' that Kerrs not worth that much, also said he hoped he stays west as he will get the 'needed' support, also he hoped Cuz would come back to the eagles, I was interested with the comments from the great man Jacovic..

Bez OX is a Bufoon. The man is a deadset fool, you obviously dont tune into Friday night football or that shit show on a Sunday with that other fool Mark Robinson.Andrew Ireland confirmed on 3aw tonight with Gerrard Healey that Hall will definately be at the Swans next year and the 2 years is not out of the question.

Means nothing until the end of trade week. A lot gets said at this time of year.

Kerr sounds like he's saying pretty much what Chris Judd said for the first 6-7 months of 2007.
Hmmm, the difference is that Kerr wants a long contract, while Judd refused to sign for more than two years at a time.

Kerr wants to stay, but just can't get the terms he wants. Judd wanted out.

Big difference.

Despite all the absolute #### in the Drafts and Trading board, a thread I posted suggesting that Hall and O'Keefe would stay in Sydney was deleted. Bigfooty!

I want Hall to stay for 2yrs at the Swans too, I was just wondering if the ox was gonna be the doggies forward coach again, I was just interested in his comments!
