Would people be happy if we turned our first two picks this year and next year into Dunkley, Pickett and Rioli?
No, if we turned this years into it, yes.

Imagine trading out Wingard and Ladhams for supposed character flaws and then bringing in Rioli and Stack.

This exact thing has been bugging me too. Ridiculous. The difference now, by the time Rioli and/or Stack become too much hard work for Hinkley it'll be someone else's problem..

I didn’t know you were interested in upping the clicks? 😉

My worry with Pickett is that his skill set would be made completely redundant under Hinkley.

The only players whose skillsets aren't completely redundant under Hinkley are inside mids and aggressive intercept defenders.

Key forwards get left 3 on 1 in the pocket.

Small forwards run around putting defensive pressure on in a packed forward line.

Outside mids are kicking long into said packed forward line.

Key defenders are left one out and/or chasing opponents back into acres of space if intercept defenders don't do their job.

And ruckmen lol, they don't even get picked.

Those who watched Kosi in juniors has he ever played mid or has he always been a forward?

Some wing work, but mostly half forward

Barrett's If Then for Port is interesting
I like it…

I think pickett is a pipe dream this year, but if the club puts the work in to him it’s more of a possibility for next year. Similar to rankine, would be the perfect small for our forward line in that he can create goals in congested spaces, of which our forward line seems to have many of. Adds significantly to our forward pressure game that Hinkley loves as well.

I would very happily pay up for him both in terms of contract and trade value.
