Looks ok plenty to build on only thing is this board would melt if we used pick 9 for a defender?
Its a lot harder to find a tall defender than a midfielder. I dont think anyone is complaining if we take Busslinger at 9.
You don’t see a lot of key defenders going in the top 10.
Not saying he’s not worth it because he looks the goods but it is unusual.
I’ve seen so many posts on here saying Key Defenders go later in the draft.
I am trading pick 8 if the draft is as bad as the Butcher Moore Pittard one

I like him, but we need a proper lock down big man so we don’t get towled up by every KPF in the AFL, for the tenth year in a row. Not sure we need another intercept-first defender, no matter how tall he is.

Correct, after the last decade as a Port supporter I don't want football.
I will admit I've struggled to watch Port games and my drop off in watching neutral games had been significant.
What makes you think after 27 games in 5 seasons and still being behind 3 players Payne is worth that? The player he could become might be worth it. Brisbane might want that since he has two years to run on his contract, Adams' future send uncertain with his recent concussion and from memory they were very bullish on Payne coming out of their academy. I would be furious if we traded the Amon compensation for Payne, which is the value you are talking about.

Even funnier they claim we had a higher offer on the table for Dunkley than the Lions!!!!!
We need both. There's not a lot of lock down defenders. I like Hayes and James Van Ess, but I don't think they are exactly lock down defenders. I'd be happy if we drafted two of them.

If Crouch was cheap I’d welcome him with open arms, BnF and AA in a GF year, yeah I know years ago but we need midfield depth. Doubt he will be a best 22 player but if he comes in and plays a Sam Mayes type role (comes in when needed and does decent) I’d be happy. Saying that it all depends if Crows give him us for cheap/free
