I cant stand M Crouch and wouldn't trust anything Dillon says, he'd love to see Crouch in a port jumper plodding around.

We don't need to pay the Crows back for the Frampton trade.

is the type of player who will come to Port Adelaide and play like McEntee. He looks good because he plays under Richmond's system. In any other system he is a plodding midfielder with poor skills. Pass

I assume he is being pushed to make room for Taranto and Hopper both on field and in the salary cap. Given that context of when he last signed a contract it’s plausible he’s on a back ended deal.

Graham is a good solid player who any club would be happy to have on their list but not the type you give anything up at the trade table for. I’m ok with it given he’s a good age and our list depth in 2022 was deplorable.

I fear that he likely will be pushed out with incoming recruits and a $ squeeze and out of contract next year. Good player , there wouldn’t be too many sides not happy to have him , prob a r2 trade

Don’t have an issue with you not wanting him. I tend to agree.

But second rounder isn’t exactly selling the farm and is about right for a good/average player like Graham

If graham is a second rounder , then our list must be packed with 1st round trade bait lol.

Willem drew for example, who is outperforming graham.

Dumont, who basically performed to a similar level as graham.


Spp, who just had a far better year than graham has ever had. He would want to be worth well more than graham.

The problem with saying graham is worth a second rounder is that it’s like scoring a 2 handed tip-in dunk an 8/10 in a dunk comp.

You basically have to score a simple windmill and a 360 degree windmill from the free throw line the same after that.

If it was a token pick in 3rd rd then maybe ok , otherwise just move on to the future and go the draft. I can live with Rioli as he fills a need, Grahams lack of speed is a concern especially with how the game's evolving, seems a tad desperate , face saving perhaps.

^ reminds me of a time 2015'ish in a pre-season game player X came under discussion on how he went and whether he was going to feature

We have overrated our list quite often. In the end it’s a list that continue to disappoint/not make finals most years of Hinkley career. Case of coach being average and list average.

Port have always had an average top 5 players (fail to step up when needed) and a below average bottom 5 players in the best 22

Nah he wouldn't. He averages 18 disposals a game. If you think Willem Drew doesn't get enough of the ball I'm not sure why you would replace him with a player who averages around the same in a better team.
