There are better small forwards available. No other club has shown the slightest interest in Evans, and with good reason.

Such as? I don't think you can recruit someone now who's not gonna play in the 22 while also getting 300-400k for playing sanfl. Francis is that, I'd think he's not coming with an expectation of playing AFL every week and doesn't cost us anything. Narkle is perhaps the only other one I'd look at but imo he's AFL quality

Happy with Redden as an assistant coach but this is another case of the SANFL rules costing us a list spot.

I don’t think he is going anywhere and didn’t his manager state that he has not been approached.

Wouldn't be surprised if we do some trades in these next 2 days to get some currency into next year's draft. Just incase a Pickett for example wants to come home.

Those guys would want to be playing AFL most games. I'm not sure Evans is coming with that expectation. It's more of a punt for us and him
