Apart from Francis Evans at Geelong who is a delisted free agent, I heard we were looking at Jack Redden who retired this year premiership player 31 years old and his Uncle is Clayton Lamb who works at Port Adelaide.

Get Esava, and we are probably done.

But if we trade a player out such as bonner or hayes, Jack graham could be back on?

We could trade in simon phillips with pick 33 and still have a succesful off season

It can't hurt to have him play in sanfl? Gives us good depth in case both Fantasia and Rioli are out which I would think happens at some stage
There are better small forwards available. No other club has shown the slightest interest in Evans, and with good reason.

Such as? I don't think you can recruit someone now who's not gonna play in the 22 while also getting 300-400k for playing sanfl. Francis is that, I'd think he's not coming with an expectation of playing AFL every week and doesn't cost us anything. Narkle is perhaps the only other one I'd look at but imo he's AFL quality

Happy with Redden as an assistant coach but this is another case of the SANFL rules costing us a list spot.

Wouldn't be surprised if we do some trades in these next 2 days to get some currency into next year's draft. Just incase a Pickett for example wants to come home.

So players like hayes/bonner might be on the move

Callum Brown if we want to go mature, Joel Western if we want to go younger.

Narkle is more a midfielder than a small forward.

Those guys would want to be playing AFL most games. I'm not sure Evans is coming with that expectation. It's more of a punt for us and him
