lol - I wonder what those gongs are for, his military career was shorter than Kornes's time in the MFS - he dropped out of Royal Marines basic training. Think what you like about Andrew and Harry, but at least they took part in military operations, but now they're banished from any military ceremonial roles.

Two of them are jubilee medals which are awarded just for existing in the military at a particular time (the blue one would be from 2005 and the reddish one from 2010), he would technically have existed in a regiment as he would have had an honorary title somewhere.
The others aren't operational medals and may be similar.

The stars are things like order of the garter etc. which are simply awards given by his mum to certain people, usually old politicians.

He only actually served for 4 months....and he clearly did nothing, was just allowed to.

Just got off the phone with a mate in Sydney. He went down to Maroubra Seals sports bar last night to watch the Parramatta v Raiders game, at half time went to the pokies lounge, walked away with the $18,500 jackpot.

Next weekend looking busy in Redfern! Swans through to a grand final, Bunnies cruised home in their semi, but neither favoured against their waiting opponent.

Interesting dynamic of “local” clubs Vs a “whole of city” club in the code Vs code “long war”. Walking in random parts of the city, inner west and south today lots more Swans gear than Rabbitohs around. Except in Redfern of course, where even parking signs are red & green Not many Cronulla fans seen. Maybe they just slink in and out of their bloody Shire to a distant stadium like say Centrals people used to back in the day. Does give you the impression, however misleading, that the Swans and therefore AFL are already “bigger” than the NRL.

The most AFL centric pub in Redfern emptied only a little post AFL game when they switched to NRL but the engagement levels dropped “a lot”. Again, misleading impressions can be misleading

Hahah, people saying nothings happening clearly haven’t actually read the Simarillion or Lord of the Rings .

Also without Lord of the Rings things like Game of Thrones would make zero sense.
They probably wouldn’t even exist.
