Mark Philippoussis beat Pete Sampras (the greatest of all time) in straight sets and also dated Shannon Elizabeth so he has to be considered the most successful of all timeThe state of Australian mens tennis is shite isn't Lleyton still the most successful player since the bow and arrow days?
Remember when people used to whinge about his professionalism then Kyrgios comes along and says hold my beer lolMark Philippoussis beat Pete Sampras (the greatest of all time) in straight sets and also dated Shannon Elizabeth so he has to be considered the most successful of all time
No need to hold his beer for him, as the earth is flat his beer is in no danger of any external forces knocking it over.Remember when people used to whinge about his professionalism then Kyrgios comes along and says hold my beer lol

Yea I dunno Lleyton was limited but made up for it in other areas. There hasn't been an American man win a grand slam since Andy Roddick in 2003.
The ATP tour is brutal, if you're less than perfect in any area you're going to get destroyed by the really top players.
Until we get a freakshow talent like Kyrgios, but one who is actually willing to put in the work to be great, we won't see an Australian man get near lifting a major trophy.

Nice way to become a multi-millionaireDe Min is extremely vanilla. No real weapons but just good enough to be around the 4th+ round.
Saw a stat the other day, called the lost generation. Only 2 players born in the 90's won Grand Slams. Theim and Medvedev. 6 have already been won by players born post 2000, such was the dominance of the big 3.Lleyton’s greatest asset was his timing. Rose up at the perfect time in the void between Agassi/Sampras and Fed/Rafa/Joker.
Shut them completely out. Crazy how good they were. It's going to take tennis some time to recover I think. No one gives a shit about the current crop at this stage.Saw a stat the other day, called the lost generation. Only 2 players born in the 90's won Grand Slams. And Tomic for that matter alsoRemember when people used to whinge about his professionalism then Kyrgios comes along and says hold my beer lol
Oh yea he's probably the worst of the lot, he'd rather party with Queensland youtubers and half ass around in qualifiers. And Tomic for that matter also
Cause its boring?Tour Down Under seems to go so under the radar
This post is the first time Ive ever heard of Tour Down Under.Tour Down Under seems to go so under the radar
I mean yea but not to Europeans and it has full world tour status there's probably more people watching it overseas than the Australian Open.Cause its boring?
I was never that fond of Lleyton but he probably finishes with 5 majors if Federer was never born & the only real weapon Hewitt had was speed around the court.
