There hasn't been an American man win a grand slam since Andy Roddick in 2003.

The ATP tour is brutal, if you're less than perfect in any area you're going to get destroyed by the really top players.

Until we get a freakshow talent like Kyrgios, but one who is actually willing to put in the work to be great, we won't see an Australian man get near lifting a major trophy.

I was never that fond of Lleyton but he probably finishes with 5 majors if Federer was never born & the only real weapon Hewitt had was speed around the court.

Anyway I went to the Corkscrew stage one year and watching them all drop like flies while Cadel powered up there wasn't exactly boring.
