But if you compare it to the price of tickets on the local pro circuit, it's not absolutely terrible.

Local pro/am shows here in Sydney cost around $60-$80 a ticket these days.

I think you are right about DJ v TJ and Woodley being the only other option.

Woodley v Covington would be a great co-main.

Women’s bantamweight is a mess at the moment. Shevchenko and Holm are booked. Pennington is injured. Pena is preggers. And although Nunes v Zingano II would be interesting given Zingano has a victory over the champ. There is a strong rumour that Zingano is fighting at UFC 222.

My UFC 221 main card prediction:
Whittaker (c) v Rockhold
Woodley (c) v Covington
Hunt v Blaydes
Formiga v Nguyen
Cerrone v Taisumov

Pedro, Kelly, Volkanovski, Matthews, Brown to fight on prelims.

I can get behind a Woodley v Covington fight at 221.

I've never been one that's subscribed to the notion that Woodley is a boring fighter. He's had a couple of recent boring match-ups stylistically....I think a stoppage finish is just around the corner.

A lot of mma fans and 99% of Brazil want Covington to get the shit beaten out of him.

Seriously bloke has been boo'ed out of the cage his last 2 fights. He is ****ing dull as a fighter and the UFC know this. Putting him as a co-main at the inaugural WA Perth UFC would be stupid. Especially a fight against a guy who is pressing charges against a guy who hit him with a boomerang!

Woodley waiting 6 months to make a call on surgery is pretty strange.

He would very close to 100% by now if he did it right after the Maia fight.
