Nothing shocks me there any more..it's annoying how busy it gets on Fridays though.
I was there last Friday, it wasn't as busy as usual, probably due to the weather though.

I was there a few weeks ago on a Friday and it was ridiculous. My friend and I had to sit at right angles to each other. They originally had us sitting next to each other opposite two guys, and it just felt awkward, so we took up the right angle thing. Place is odd. You ever been upstairs? So hot up there!

Lazy days are another.

My wife doesn't understand this. She doesn't get how a whole day spent on the lounge, moving only to get food or go to the toilet, is my version of a day perfectly spent.

Which place are you talking about?

That is the biggest issue i have with chinese restaurants - i feel like i'm always being sat in shit seats at a shit table and i don't have the option to choose even when the place is empty.

My friend and i went to a place in china town and the rude head waiter sat us at this really crap table next to the door. It was midnight and the place was empty. So we asked if we could sit somewhere else so he sat us directly outside the kitchen, after sitting there for 2 seconds we just moved to another table that was decent. So he then went to the top of the stairs where the entrance is and pointed outside, as in telling us to get out.

So we started laughing and went back to the original table he sat us at. We had to almost beg him to let us stay, he really wanted us to leave. What a rude waiter.?

North East China Family on Flinders Lane.

We got sat at a table that didn't suit us last week, we just asked if we could sit somewhere else and they were fine with it. I think it's cos we are not Asians/they're just rude normally etc.

Yeh sit upstairs quite often..was going to head there for lunch tomorrow but now have been booked in for some Korean place.

I find if you go in a pair you often end up sharing tables, condiments...all part of the experience!

At what time of the day?

What time do you shower? That time of day is fine. What time is it right now? That time of day is also fine. What time will it be in half an hour? That time of day is also acceptable.

There are no rules governing shower beers.

+1 for beer in the shower.

you can also practise your AFL grand final winning celeberation and pour the beer in from a few foot above your head with no repercussions for any misses aside from the obvious tragedy of lost beer (vale beer ????-2013 :( ).

Another +1 here for the shower beers.

Usually have it just before heading out on a Fri/Sat night, discovered it last year when my mate called up saying they are picking me up in around 10mins; in which I had to shower, get ready and sink a couple of pre-drinks and hence born the multi-tasking beauty of shower beers!

interesting. ive never had this experience before.

is odd when the place is empty to be placed in a "shit position" i must say.

have you the same experience in restaurants that have been semi full? has it just occurred in chinese restaurants (and was it a western-chinese restaurant)?
