As much as I dislike Trump, Democrats haven't exactly done a stellar job running the country for the past 4 years, which is why people negatively affected by the state of the economy are voting for him.

Not saying he'll be any better, but it's why swing voters will vote for him.
They've actually done a great job on the ecomomy, one of the best in the developed world at managing post-covid inflation which was global.

But people just see that their eggs and petrol are more expensive than they were 4 years ago and vote accordingly, a pretty low info electorate compared to other developed countries.

The problem with perception is the Republicans can lie out of their arse and people will believe it. What exactly do you propose the Dems do to counter it? It is very obvious and easy to fact check, the problem is you have morons who refuse to do so.
Do you think Democrats constantly calling Trump a 'Nazi' and a 'Fascist', as well as Biden calling their supporters 'Garbage' is a positive thing?

Trump's had 2 attempts on his life in the lead up to the election.

Do you think it wouldn't have happened if Democrats didn't take this path? They needed to be better to stand out as a more appealing candidate to swing voters and moderate Republicans who don't like Trump.

Then there's the constant fear-mongering(even in this thread) about how there'll 'never be a fair election again' if Trump wins(although I do note that Musk said the same thing about Harris).

For better or for worse(likely worse...), Republicans are very patriotic by nature and revere the constitution, especially the 1st amendment.

Democrats attempts to censor and silence political opponents has only served to reinforce their support for Trump and simply gave him free fodder for the campaign trail.

Democrats simply don't seem to be able to relate to anyone outside of their core base at the moment and that has to change.

Instead of being able to engage on substance previously, and in this thread, KingNorth23 is taking the DMing Harris supporter route to gloat I see.

Weak.
I’d sadly expect nothing less from that side.

The only thing that gives me satisfaction is to say suck shit America you wanted this
I agree that those voting for Trump get what they deserve. It's the rest of America - the women, LGBTQ+ and all those immigrants that are going to be deported that I worry about. As well as Ukrainians - if Trump stops funding them, Russia's going to walk all over them. China might take advantage and nudge Taiwan.

Plus if Kennedy junior gets the health portfolio, heaven help them all.

What a disaster it will be.

I'm worried about Ukraine tbh. I feel as though they are going to get bombarded by Russia.
Yes if he wins he said he will solve the Ukraine problem on day one and deport millions of immigrants.
Elon said he will crash the economy and there will be pain. ( not for him though)
He’ll have his billions in crypto probably and gold.
The US has now become an ally to Russia and enemy to its allies.
The global economy will be shaky. Watch the stock market.

Literally nowhere in my post did I support Trump or advocate a vote for him

All you have done, is exactly like I said you would. You too are smarter than to make the exact mistakes I pointed out in my post. No reflection on why it may have failed, just blame everyone else. Where did we see that this year

If she can't beat Trump, that says A LOT about her. As a poster above said, she pandered to whoever was in front of her

It's not over anyway, at least my wallet hopes not at $10 odds

I've seen your posting before, you've very much made comments about how you'd vote for Trump for the lols.

It says a lot about the American public when you've got a guy who's actively spouting far-right rhetoric, is a convicted sex offender, a convicted tax fraud, tried to circumvent the democratic process last time he was in power and who lies at a rate never before seen in politics, and there's still tens of millions of people determined to vote for him.

Nothing Harris could do will win people over that are willing to overlook everything that Trump represents and still vote fro him.

So, your economy's going so great that you can't afford rent and struggle to pay for groceries? Looking across social media these past few years, it seems this is a very common concern for low/middle-class income earners.

They don't really care that politicians and billionaires are getting richer off an improved economy, nor should they.

Yeah, the current Biden administration wasn't exactly covering themselves in glory (along with most of Europe) regarding Ukraine but Trump will just let his buddy Putin do whatever he wants.

Gained some. He's still losing those demographics badly. It's just instead of being 90-10, it's now 85-15, and that's enough to make a difference. But let's not pretend he's now a hero to minorities.
Have you been to the states? None of them are heroes to minorities, except 1 is known to be

California is truly ****ed for homelessness and they vote blue overwhelmingly. You'd think people would vote for change at some point. Each and every state votes for their team like clapping seals
