I hope that those cheering his success here realise what impact he may have on our lives here. The american presidency isn't a game, but it feels like some here treat it as such. It won't be cool if he plunges the US into a trade war and the world into economic downturn. I have a feeling some aren't old enough to remember 2008 and how the GOP lead economic disaster rippled across the world.

Pretty much every time a Republican gets in as President, it ends in them crashing the economy, and/or mass-losing jobs, and/or exploding the deficit. How Democrats haven't been able to capitalise on this over decades is an inditcment.
