Fine with it. Dimma jumped on with us so far back and dispute today we have shown continued improvement. He was and still is worthy of his extension.

Results matter. I'm not sure where our 'continued improvement' is really coming from. Most of it is from Cotchin, Rance and Riewoldt getting older. Deledio is probably the only player who has really improved (and that is mostly this year - and Deledio did win 2xB&Fs under Wallace). Wallace had 3 of his 5 years better than anything Hardwick has produced so far. FWIW when Wallace was coach we won 40 and lost 59. So far under Hardwick we have won 21 and lost 37 (both had a draw). Wallace lost arguably ours best player (Brown) with a broken leg 10 games into his first season coaching (and he never really came back). In 3 of his 5 years we were still in contention for the finals in Rd 21.

Not saying Wallace didn't have a fair go - he tried, he failed. Move on. Just saying that Hardwick deserves a bit (a lot) of scrutiny. And if he's not up to it, don't keep him around too long.

Ease up, we all will renew our membership because we have no option. it's just that the club will find it much harder to fund raise now.

I mean Christ they put the 500 000 ahead of chance to play finals.

We are hurting much more than the players ( maybe cotch aside). most of them would have followed other clubs and had to adopt Richmond in the past 2 - 10 years. Jesus, I have followed these guys for 41 years.

We hear talk that Martin is taking his suspension badly. Whoopdy do, it was his effing fault. Us suckers just cough up every year and get served this crap.

They owe us BIGTIME....

I realise most is just frustration but it just shits me.

At least if you have followed us for 41 years you have seen some kind of success. I don't even remember 2001. But either way they owe us all big time.

Guys, Essendon gave up a final quarter lead against a side just as bad as the Gold Coast and look at where they are now. If we beat North and Carlton in the next two rounds we'll probably forget all about this match. Some of the things that are being said in here are ridiculous.

I think a lot of us had that feeling, knowing we could drop this one.From the first bounce they were not switched on i cant work out why a group of young players would not play their guts out for the 4 points.

The side has been unsettled with the changes, losing Ivan was a huge loss and we still have players that need to be gone.I feel very disapointed in the loss, we only took them on for 1 quarter this should be the wake up a few of them need.To see Trent Cotchin after the game the sooner he is made captain the better Newman has been a good captain through a bleak time.Time to step it up a bit fresh blood new ideas

What is the point of making finals if we dont have the players to take us all the way. I hope they hurt all the way back...we play North next a young team that play fast hard at it footy.Scary
