Re: Gentleman Jim

RIP Jim

My thoughts go out to his family and all those he was close with. One of the true gentleman of the game. :(

Re: Gentleman Jim

That's devastating. RIP Jim.

While he kept fighting, it gave us all hope that people can beat this thing. It's just too damn persistent, but geez, he gave it one hell of a battle.

I really feel for his family.

Re: Gentleman Jim

RIP to the big man and cons to his family. Did more for football & the community than anyone else i've ever seen.

Re: Gentleman Jim

A sad day for the Melbourne Football Club, the AFL, and for all of us. I'm never sad when public figures die, but this is an exception to the rule. Jim was a truly exceptional man.

Vale.

Re: Vale Gentleman Jim

An extraordinary fight against cancer from an extraordinary man. We should have expected nothing less.

As inevitable as it was, the news is just crushing and unfathomable. My condolences to the Stynes family and the MFC.

RIP.

Re: Vale Gentleman Jim

RIP Jim Stynes, you aren't in pain anymore. Condolences to his family and friends. I hope the Lions do something for our game against Melbourne on Saturday week.

Re: Vale Gentleman Jim

RIP Mate.

You lived an amazing life, inspired thousands of people and fought a brave fight until the end.

You won't be forgotten.

Re: Vale Gentleman Jim

A sad day for not just the football public but the community in general.

Condolences to his family.

R.I.P Jimmy
