So how many of you lot reverse into parking spots at supermarkets and shopping centres?
I'm a front in , reverse out guy. ( though if i see a double spot i sometimes drive through ).
My logic.
1: It takes more precision to reverse in, so i can front in quicker . its easy to reverse out, just wait until no cars are coming.
2: If i want to use my rear hatch, if i front in, no-one can block access to my rear door.

Reasons i can think of to reverse in.
1: You are about to commit a crime and want to leave FAST .
2: You have a car with park guidence in the reverse camera, and just love using it.
3: You are a sociopath , and like blocking everyone else while you reverse in 3 times ( meaning you don't have the car from 2)

No doubt there are other reasons, i'm open to hearing them since i keep seeing more and more reversers, and most of them outwardly seem to be type 3.

I’ll usually drive in at the shops, most times I reverse in it’s because of the angle or I’ve missed the spot and gone past before I see it.

But I always reverse in at work and at home when traffic allows.

I did notice during Christmas a lot more people had reverse parked and those who did held everyone up. The other shit thing with reverse parking during busy times is it is harder to see cars ready to leave a carpark. Usually a foot on brake lights or reverse lights on is a cue to wait for the spot, but reversed in the only cue is if they have their lights on.
