Just watching the Eagles demolish the Lions on Fox Footy. Eagles were last 2 years ago and uncompetitive. The difference between them and us though, is they have players who play for the jumper and a coach who demands respect. I couldn't see us improving like they have in the next 2 years.

They had a stack of players out injured that year so were well placed to bounce back, we have a stack of players that injure my love for the Club and it will take a lot of make up sex for me to forgive my Club for this cheating, heart-breaking and cruel punishment they are currently inflicting upon us all.

Jones - absolute dead-set waste of space.
Williams - absolutely no value unless the ball hits him on the chest. No second efforts, no game sense, etc, etc...
Gia - gives 100% but past it
Crossy - same
Pearce - looks a bit slow for a young bloke and not an inside player so you wonder where he fits in.
Grant - lost cause. have to hope that someone will trade for him. Hears footsteps, doesn't go hard enough
Howard - shirks the issue on occasion
Vez - just not aware enough for an afl player
McCartney - I know you're trying to teach players lessions blah-blah etc but you've gone too far in the one direction.

Dickson - does all the right things
Dahlhaus - a small and hairy ray of light amongst the gloom
Griff - tries hard
Tutt - showed a couple of flashes and some speed
Wallis - nice first quarter. Should be a handful next year if he can work on his tank and gain a couple of yard of pace.

Surely we have to blood JJ and Panos and maybe even Talia next week. Give us something!!!

I get the impression the older guys realise there chance at glory has past them by and are just going through the motions. I have faith in Macca to rebuild the list into a competitive unit, just needs time.

The gameplan needs to be addressed immediately. I laugh because our blokes are instructed to switch play to the other side of the ground, but we are too bloody slow to actually do it properly and we end up having to chip the ball around anyway. We are the slowest team in the AFL at the moment. Couldnt break a line or take the game on if their life depended on it ! Where is blokes with the balls to actually take the game on FFS , rather than the crap we are being served up at the moment?

I would rather lose the game by 60 - 80 points taking the game on and running in waves than watching the absolute crap we are having to endure currently ! The current game style WONT win Premierships

This comment will probably spark some debate but I genuinely believe our major problem is the lack of a KPF. I know a lot of people want us to draft goal kicking outside kids (which would be great) but I think our top priority should be to get someone in the F50 that provides a presence and goal kicking ability.
